🎄 Come celebrate Christmas with DDCC the 11th of December 🎄 Ready for our event of the year filled with Danish traditional food, games and joy. Come together in continuing our tradition to bring a Dansk Julestemning to the Netherlands. As in previous years, it will be held in the Danish Seamen’s Church (Den Danske Sømandskirke) in Rotterdam.  This year we will be adding live music to the event. Additionally, we will host a Danish Christmas game (pakkeleg) and a raffle (with extraordinary prices) in support of the venue 🎁 We begin the evening at 18:00 and will hold an extraordinary DDCC meeting to elect a new board member. Immediately afterwards the festivities begin! 🎉 Practically the venue is located next to Coolhaven Station in Rotterdam, so public transports is convenient for both arrival and departure to fully enjoy the Christmas celebrations. The DDCC is pleased to invite its members for a Danish movie event on November 6, 2024. The film “Sons” (in Danish “Vogter”) is a 2024 psychological thriller co-written and directed by Gustav Möller.    The film starring Sidse Babett Knudsen and Sebastian Bull is about an idealistic prison officer Eva Hansen, who faces the dilemma of her life when a young man she knows is transferred to her prison. The Dutch newspaper NRC gave the movie 4 out of 5 stars in its recent review. Women in Leadership event is approaching, have you signed up yet? After last year's successful event, it is again time for Nordic Business Speed Dating! On Thursday October 17th, 2024, the DDCC will host the Nordic Business Speed Dating event in Amsterdam, where you have the opportunity to present your company and yourself to other participants. We are pleased to invite members of the Finnish and Norwegian chambers to participate as well, thereby expanding the possibilities to connect.   The format for this dynamic business speed dating will be a series of 2-minute sessions, where two individuals will sit face-to-face. Participants will each have one minute to showcase their expertise, share insights and make connections. Following each 2-minute session, participants will rotate to the next business date.   After approximately one hour of business speed dating, we will continue the conversations over drinks and snacks for further networking and relationship building. The DDCC, along with other European chambers, is participating in a European Networking Cocktail kindly hosted by the law firm Loyens & Loeff. The event provides a great opportunity to network with professionals from other countries and markets and will take place on September 10th, 2024, from 18:00 to 21:00 CET. The Czecho-Slovakian, Danish, French, English, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish and Swedish chambers are participating in the event. Make sure to register for the event via your own chamber.
