Unfortunately the Leiden team did not win against the other highly competitive locations but we definitely had fun participating. This year, our annual BBQ was a special occasion! Despite having a little less room due to the ongoing refurbishment activities in our production plant, we had a wonderful time. Knowing that these activities will allow us to introduce a brand new vial & PFS filling line to manufacture small commercial batches, we are more than happy to give up some room for our BBQ this year 😉 It was also a moment to reflect and appreciate the contributions of our colleague Marcel, who has decided to enjoy an early retirement. Thank you for being a part of our team for over 10 years Marcel Schut. We wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement!

Welcome to our new colleagues at DELPHARM MEPPEL!
On 2 April, Delpharm finalized the acquisition from Astellas Pharma of the Meppel pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Netherlands. This site, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, will be an additional asset for Delpharm in its production of solid dosage forms, with the possibility to export in the United States thanks to the FDA certification. Furthermore, it will strengthen Delpharm’s position in the Netherlands where the CDMO already owns one manufacturing site in Bladel and an injectable drug development centre in Leiden.
