Design Thinking Conference

What an incredible journey we’ve had at this year’s Design Thinking Conference in Amsterdam! From eye-opening talks to creative breakout sessions, this year’s event at the Tobacco Theatre pushed us to step outside our comfort zones and see things differently. A huge thank you to our incredible speakers, including Margot Bloomstein, Tim Vreugdenhil, Jessica den Outer ✊🌳⚖️ Rogier Bak,🔹Tim de Zeeuw, Juri Hoedemakers (Drs. Hofnar), Jeanne Liedtka, and Willem Stortelder for sharing their wisdom. And a special thank you to Adam StJohn Lawrence, our Voice of the Crowd, and Olga Lehmann, Ph.D, our Master of Ceremonies, as well as our amazing breakout actors for bringing energy and unique perspectives to the sessions. Some standout moments included thoughts on trust and self-reflection, using failure as a tool for growth, ‘errorism’, moving beyond biases and adding silence to our busy lives. Thank you to all our participants for your energy, ideas, and engagement. You made this year’s conference truly unforgettable, and we’re excited to see how these insights will inspire future conversations and actions!

The DTC’s still going strong! After yesterday’s very successful first day, we’re happy to continue this exciting journey together. With two breakout sessions, Disruptive and Convergent Thinking, this day is packed with fun and engaging activities. With insightful and motivational speeches from 🔹Tim de Zeeuw and Juri Hoedemakers (Drs. Court Jester), and design thinking pioneer, Jeanne Liedtka. Finally, to top it all off, we’ll close the conference with a bang, featuring Willem Stortelder. Thank you to everyone who made the Design Thinking Conference truly a magical and unforgettable event.

And that’s a wrap on Day 1 of the DTC! What a beautiful first day we had at the Design Thinking Conference. We started the afternoon off with an inspiring talk about the rights of nature and empathy in law by advocate Jessica den Outer ✊🌳⚖️ Following this, the DTC participants split up in their respective breakouts for some interactive sessions. And to top it all off, we wrapped up the day with some laughs, courtesy of comedian Rogier Bak Now we’ll continue the fun with some networking drinks and delicious bitterballen to keep the energy up and connect with fellow attendees. Thank you to all of today’s speakers and to everyone who participated to make this day truly unforgettable. We hope you had as much fun as we did - let’s do it all over again tomorrow!

Live from the DTC! The Design Thinking Conference 2024 has officially started and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We kicked off this morning with inspiring speeches from Margot Bloomstein, who shared her wisdom about empowering trust and Tim Vreugdenhil, who taught us how to connect spirituality to business. Our attendees also had the chance to meet their respective buddies and connect with one another, setting the stage for deep collaboration during these two days. After these insightful keynotes, we’ll dive into our Divergent Thinking Breakout Session, stay tuned for more updates.
