She is currently in her third year of a Bachelor's degree in Economics, combining her studies with a strong interest in business and management. At Domakin, Paolina oversees operations in Rotterdam, where she builds a robust network, nurtures client relationships, and drives new growth opportunities. She also plays a vital role in shaping Domakin's vision and setting ambitious goals for the future. Here’s more from her: "Alongside my studies, I have held several managerial and leadership positions across various fields, which have prepared me to navigate the dynamic real estate market. Finding housing in Rotterdam can be challenging, but it becomes much more manageable with the right resources and support. After nearly three years of living in this city and helping many students secure housing, I’m confident I can guide others through the process. Yesterday, the European Parliament discussed ways to encourage investment in decent and affordable housing. 📈 Rising rents and limited availability, driven in part by short-term rentals, are making it harder for students to find the homes they need. Having studied in multiple countries, Radost brings valuable international experiences and a fresh creative perspective to the team. Here is more from her: “I first came to the Netherlands 6 years ago to pursue my Bachelor's degree, and I’ve recently graduated with a Master's in European Studies from Groningen. During my studies, I lived in 4 different countries and returned to Groningen several times. This meant I experienced the stress and sleepless nights that many students face while searching for accommodation across different countries. These challenges motivated me to contribute to Domakin, where I work with the team to develop solutions for the complex housing market. I'm passionate about everything creative, from dancing to sewing and even painting. At Domakin, I have the freedom to express this creativity, by creating visuals, captivating content, and innovative products. While my primary focus is on design and marketing, the dynamic nature of the start-up allows me to take on new challenges and learn from my fellow team members. Yesterday I started a new position as a Schuman Trainee. But before that, a quick roundup of September 📆. I moved for the…10th time. This time a bit more familiar with the city, yet no less excited! 🧥I started a part-time job in fashion retail and worked at 5 different stores. While I was responsible for organizing the store and taking out new stock, I also assisted customers and provided styling advice when requested. In doing so, I gained insights into retail operations, visual merchandising and learned more about clothing store management. 💬 In the meantime, I continued holding online Bulgarian language sessions with Francophoniki coming up with creative solutions to traditional language teaching materials. 🔷 Furthermore, I regularly joined sessions with the team of Domakin, working on our digital and physical marketing strategy, growth plan and community-building efforts. 🌐 And as everyone I also had a time and capacity limit so unfortunately I could not finish the course Climate x Leadership, an incredible opportunity provided by GAUC including top worldwide universities. I am nonetheless happy to have been able to learn more about Climate governance. It was a dynamic month packed with diverse emotions and new experiences. Now diving into October which will be filled with many more as I continue my professional development at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Sofia 🇧🇬🇪🇺 Excited about what is to come and I will continue to seek the balance between those multiple projects ⚖️.

🌟 Introducing the Technology Manager of Domakin, Vladislav Marinov 🌟 Over the past two years, Vladislav has developed the digital platform that connects Domakin’s customers and service providers, and he continuously upgrades it. In addition to assisting students in finding homes, he takes the lead in recruiting and mentoring young talents, guiding them in maintaining and developing the company's website. Here’s more from Vladislav: "I would describe myself as positive and energetic. The day cannot fit all the tasks I have assigned to myself! I believe in setting big goals and surrounding myself with like-minded people who motivate me to help the next generation. At Domakin, we are constantly networking and encouraging people to start building their projects, and we are proud to have invested in a few student-led startups. Outside of work, I enjoy sports such as tennis, sailing, hiking, skiing, and I’ve recently taken up learning the guitar.
