Earlier this year, Joukje Oosterman held her inaugural lecture as professor of #Neuropsychology of #Cognitive #Ageing. She focused on the effects of ageing on the brain 🧠 , including the role of pain as an under-reported problem in the elderly. #Chronic #pain occurs in 40% to 50% of over-65s, often with a negative impact on daily functioning and well-being.
