The Embassy of India, The Hague organised the Annual India-Netherlands Business Seminar with the theme "Cooperation in Innovation & Key Emerging Technologies" at The Hague Marriott Hotel in The Hague on 11 January '24. The Seminar provided a good networking opportunity for the 125+ participants for exchanging ideas & strategies for expanding business & technological cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Keynote speakers at the Seminar were drawn from both government & corporate sector - H.E. Mrs. Reenat Sandhu (Ambassador of India to the Netherlands), Dr. Rajesh Gokhale (Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India), Mr. Erwin Nijsse (Director General Business & Innovation, Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate Policy), Ms. Hilde van der Meer (Commissioner, Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency) & Ms. Nienke Homan (CEO, Impact Hydrogen). The fireside chat at the event was moderated by Suneet K. of Fractal. Three of the six Dutch startups that were selected under the G20-DIA program of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology & MeitY Startup Hub as part of the G20 India Presidency last year also gave presentations at the Seminar. The startups included Keystonemab, Eindhoven Medical Robotics & HOLOFIL. Gladdening to see great interest among both the Dutch and Indian stakeholders to participate in India's growth story.
