Ukrainian farmers face immense challenges caused by Russia, including damaged infrastructure, mined fields, and disrupted supply chains. Despite these obstacles, Ukrainians cultivate and export vital crops, ensuring that people around the world have enough food. #GrainFromUkraine

In just the past three months, the number of drones launched by Russia against Ukraine has increased by approximately 1,200, rising from 1,300 drones in September to 2,500 in November. In the past week alone, Russia has launched over 400 combat drones targeting Ukrainian people, along with nearly 500 aerial guided bombs and around 20 missiles of various types. This deadly toll must stop. And it will only stop under the united pressure of the entire democratic world, working toward a common goal. We can stop this terror with the strength of air defense, long-range strikes, and sanctions. Russia’s war crimes and ongoing war can no longer be seen as the problem of a single nation.

💬 Statement by President Zelenskyy: A rescue operation is currently underway in Zaporizhzhia following a brutal Russian missile strike. At this moment, 3 fatalities have been reported. My condolences to the families and loved ones. At least 14 people are injured, and all necessary assistance is being provided. An office building has been destroyed, and a medical center, as well as regular urban structures, have been damaged. There may still be people trapped under the rubble. Every effort is being made to save lives, with all emergency services involved. Each such attack proves the urgent need to strengthen our air defense capabilities. The world has enough systems to make this happen. We have submitted all requests regarding air defense to our partners, including for Patriot systems and other technologies that can effectively protect lives. The issue lies solely in political decisions. These are decisions for the U.S. administration, European leaders, and other global partners. Decisions that could save thousands of lives and render Russian terror meaningless.

What do you know about International Human Rights Day? International Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10. This tradition began in 1948 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to promote a functioning international human rights system. Human rights are a fundamental part of what it means to be human. What do you know about detention centers and filtration camps operated by the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine? One of the most notorious symbols of the Russian Federation's crimes is the former cultural center “Izolyatsia” in Donetsk (https://lnkd.in/d-uwNa6G). This site has become a de facto concentration camp where individuals have been tortured, shot, and imprisoned for more than a decade—and it remains operational today. The larger picture of these crimes is made up of many pieces, and “Izolyatsia” is just one of them. It stands as a stark example of where appeasement of an aggressor leads. The Russian Federation has made it clear through its actions that it is interested only in war. Waiting for concessions from such a regime is a tragic waste of time—and lives. Until all prisoners held in the illegal “Izolyatsia” prison and similar filtration camps in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are freed, until the inevitability of punishment for these crimes is ensured, and until safeguards are put in place to prevent such atrocities in the future, we will continue to call for justice. This includes the urgent establishment of a full-fledged international ad hoc tribunal to address the crime of aggression against Ukraine, perpetrated by the political and military leadership of the Russian Federation. #IzolyatsiaMustSpeak #HumanRightsDay #StandWithUkraine #StopRussianWar #RealPeaceNotAppeasement

🗓 On this day in 1917, the first Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people began its work. This historic assembly marked the creation of the Crimean Democratic Republic, the first democratic republic in the Muslim world and the first to grant equal rights, including voting rights, to all women. 🌍✨ 📜 The Qurultay, as the highest representative body of the Crimean Tatars, laid the foundation for national self-governance by adopting a constitution and proclaiming the republic’s democratic principles. ⚖️ Despite its short-lived existence due to Soviet aggression, the spirit of the Qurultay lived on. After decades of oppression and genocide by Soviet Russia, the Qurultay and other democratic institutions of the Crimean Tatar people were restored following Ukraine’s restoration of independence in 1991. 🚨 Since 2014, under Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea, Crimean Tatars have faced renewed oppression. Independent institutions have been banned, and their national rights have been systematically violated. 🌍 Accountability and justice are crucial in the fight against these violations. Ukraine, together with its international partners, remains dedicated to supporting its indigenous populations and protecting their rights. Through cooperation and solidarity, we strive to ensure a future of freedom and equality for all.

140 Years of the Ukrainian Women's Movement 💙💛 On December 8, 1884, Nataliya Kobrynska, Lyudmyla Drahomanova, and Hanna Pavlyk founded the 'Society of Ruthenian Women' in Stanyslaviv (now Ivano-Frankivsk). This milestone marked the beginning of the Ukrainian feminist movement, which turns 140 years old today. 🎉 Ukrainian women have always shaped our national life—fighting for freedom, leading in culture and education, and building a better future. Today, they are heroes on the frontlines of the ongoing war: as soldiers, medics, volunteers, and global advocates for Ukraine. 💪🇺🇦 We honour their resilience, strength, and contributions to our nation. Together, we continue to strive for full gender equality because empowering women means empowering Ukraine! 🤝

💬 Andrii Sybiha, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine: "Assad has fallen. This is how it has always been and will always be for dictators who bet on Putin. He always betrays those who rely on him. The main goal now is to restore security in Syria and effectively protect its people from violence. All efforts must be made to stabilize the region and ensure inclusive political dialogue in Syria for the sake of effectively functioning state institutions. We express our readiness to pave the way to restoring relations in the future and reaffirm support for the Syrian people."

🇺🇦 President Zelenskyy: "Words from Russia mean nothing, but its bombs and rockets speak volumes." On St. Nicholas' evening: 💥 Zaporizhzhia: Airstrike on a repair shop and cars with people inside. Result: 9 dead, 4 injured. 💥 Kryvyi Rih: A missile strike on an ordinary city building. Result: 2 dead, 17 injured. And these are just two attacks in one day. Russia has carried out thousands of such assaults during this war. One thing is clear: Putin doesn’t want real peace. He only seeks the ability to use bombs, missiles, and violence against any country. 💬 "Only through strength can we stop this. And only through strength can we achieve real peace." 🙏 Thank you to everyone supporting Ukraine in this fight. Eternal memory to all victims of Russian terrorism!

🇺🇦 Ukraine didn’t start this war, and Ukrainians didn’t deserve it. But Ukraine chose to fight back and defend its freedom. On Armed Forces Day, we honour every father, sister, and son defending their homeland – guarding the skies, advancing on the front, and holding the line for a free Ukraine. Their courage ensures peace for all of us. Let’s stay united, support them fully, and push for victory. Glory to Ukraine’s defenders! 💙💛
