The recent flooding in Eastern Spain has deeply moved us at EPS - Euro Pool System. We want to express our sincere solidarity with everyone impacted, including our employees, collaborators, transporters, retail clients, and the dedicated fruit and vegetable producers who are facing the severe consequences of this natural disaster. We are actively mobilising resources and providing support to our employees affected by the flooding, to help them regain stability and safety as quickly as possible. We recognise the significant disruptions that such an event cause across the food supply chain and logistical processes. As a company, we remain committed to minimising the impact. We are working tirelessly to implement solutions to ensure a steady and reliable supply for our clients and uninterrupted service for our partners. The floods in Spain have not affected the continuity of EPS’s services. We express our deepest gratitude to our entire team and the transporters who, despite facing immense challenges, continue to show remarkable dedication and professionalism. Together, we will persevere, collaborating and supporting one another to overcome this crisis.

🌿 We've been nominated for the Green Business of the Year Award!🌿 Doncaster Chamber has nominated EPS for the Green Business of the Year Awards at the Doncaster Business Awards on December 12th. The nomination underlines EPS’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship within the fresh food supply chain. We continuously strive to reduce our environmental impact through sustainable practices and cutting-edge solutions. In our UK service centres, this includes efficient washing with reduced gas consumption, intelligent LED lighting, energy-recovering centrifuges, water recovery schemes, and the use of recycled materials in trays. EPS is excited the next step in sustainable transport! 🚛🌿 We've installed a high-performing rapid charger at our service centre in Lauenau, near Hanover, developed by ME Energy - Liquid Electricity GmbH, in collaboration with H2 Green Power & Logistics GmbH. This innovative Rapid Charger 150 generates its own electricity from sustainable ethanol, charging vehicles up to 200 km in just 15 minutes without needing a power grid connection.
