SAVE THE DATE The Grand Paris ENHR conference 'Affordable Housing in Greening Cities' in 2025 will be on June 30 - July 4, (including the New Housing Researchers conference on June 30). The event will take place on the Descartes site of the Gustave Eiffel University at Champs-sur-Marne. Today we ended the ENHR2024 conference in Delft with workshops, the General Assembly and a well-attended plenary - see photo - about 'Housing academia and activism: a necessary or impossible connection?' Thanks all 400+ participants for coming and sharing your views and research findings! Next year's ENHR conference will take place on 8-11 July in Paris.

5 VACANCIES: 4 PHD POSITIONS AND ONE POSTDOCTORAL HOUSING RESEARCH POSITION The new international ‘Transformations in Housing and Intergenerational Contracts in Europe’ (THICE), led by the Humboldt University Berlin, that will start from September 1st 2024, has four PhD vacancies and one Postdoctoral Research Fellow vacancy. Two PhD students will be based in the Geography Department at Humboldt-University, one PhD student will be based in the Department of Sociology at the University of Granada and one PhD student will be based in the Institute for Social Policy at University College Dublin. The postdoc will be based in the Department of Sociology at the University of Granada. PHD POSITIONS ON HOUSING Housing is still a major academic research topic: the University of Milan Bicocca (Italy) offers 6 PhD positions in Urban Studies with a special focus on housing and the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and Goethe-Universität Frankfurt (Germany) together offer no less than 12 PhD positions on interdependence between societal transformation and the built environment of housing. In order to give new impetus to the registration and abstract upload for the ENHR 2024 conference, the procedure has been further streamlined and simplified. You find instructions on the registration page: https://lnkd.in/g6rzNUFc. The abstracts and final papers deadlines have also been extended and the cancellation policy has been relaxed.
