We are thrilled to welcome Csilla Laposa-Szabó as the new European Women Payments Network (EWPN) Country Ambassador for Hungary! Csilla is currently the Managing Director at suIT Solutions Ltd. With over 20 years of experience in the #financial and Insurtech sectors, she is a seasoned leader and expert in IT project management, specializing in insurance technologies such as policy management, accounting, claim handling, and pricing. In her roles as Managing Director, she leads innovative solutions and fosters strong client relationships in the financial sector. In addition to her role at SuIT Solutions, Csilla has spent over a decade in IT project management, guiding teams through the complexities of large-scale digital transformation. Her expertise lies in blending technology with business strategy to create impactful solutions that drive growth and efficiency. Academically, she holds an MSc in Business Administration and Management from Corvinus University of Budapest, with an Erasmus scholarship experience at the University of Mannheim. Her academic background has provided her with a solid foundation in business and management, which she continues to apply in her leadership roles. Passionate about supporting the advancement of women in payments and financial services, Csilla is committed to contributing to the European Women Payments Network (#EWPN) as the Country Co-Ambassador for Hungary. She seeks to empower #women in the industry and promote diversity while sharing her knowledge of IT and fintech innovations with the wider community. Outside of her professional work, Csilla is a passionate amateur triathlete, constantly striving to push her physical and mental limits through the discipline of triathlon. 👉 In a recent interview for Merchant Payments Ecosystem, I highlighted the unwavering dedication of the European Women Payments Network (EWPN), both globally and in the SEE region. Out of all the presented results of 2024 and plans for 2025, we are excited to soon launch a #financialinclusion and #digitalliteracy program for universities and high school students in Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 Serbia 🇷🇸 Albania 🇦🇱 and North Macedonia 🇲🇰 ☑️Following our successful regional conferences in Zagreb and Sarajevo, we recognized the pressing need for support and leadership on projects that create #lastingimpact. With a keen awareness of the challenges in educating young generations, we aspire to collaborate with faculties in #economics, #law, and #computersciences. Additionally, we aim to engage high school students in smaller towns. 💡📱💳Our program will explore crucial topics such as #accesstofinance, #mobilewallets, and #paymentcards. 📌Through this initiative, we envision a significant number of students interning at major payment, financial, banking, or fintech organizations. 📈We foresee a rise in the use of digital payment services among young people, transforming them into future #ambassadors of financial inclusion. 🥁With our dedicated team of volunteers and country ambassadors in the region, we are certain that this project will be a remarkable continuation of our vision!
