A new owner for EVBox's DC solutions starting in 2025 🚀 We are excited to announce an important milestone for EVBox and the future of our DC solutions. Late November 2024, ENGIE, the current parent company of EVBox, signed an agreement with La Financiere de Pessac (LAFIP) to transfer ownership of EVBox’s DC business. This deal, expected to be finalized mid-January 2025, ensures the continuity of the DC business:  the EVBox brand remains, while all activities related to the development, manufacturing, delivery, and support of DC solutions will continue seamlessly with LAFIP’s leadership. This marks a return to the roots for  Eric Stempin, the founder of EVTronic, a company that was acquired by EVBox in 2018, specialized in DC superfast charging solutions. Under Eric’s leadership, LAFIP will now take over EVBox's DC operations, continuing the strong legacy of expertise in this field. What does this mean for our customers? ✔️ The EVBox DC portfolio, including superfast charging stations like EVBox Troniq Modular and EVBox Troniq High Power, will continue to be available in all existing markets outside North America. ✔️ The aftersales operations that are essential to providing customers with the most reliable recharging business will continue and be further developed. ✔️ Our commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality DC charging solutions remains stronger than ever. Exciting Update: EVBox Liviqo now supports payment via QR code on the display 📲 Simple and secure payments on EV charging infrastructure have always been a top priority for EVBox. We’re thrilled to announce that EVBox Liviqo now comes with: ✅ The capability to show a digital QR code on its 5” screen, using the latest firmware. The QR code is easy to scan using a mobile phone. ✅ CPOs can enable this feature remotely in EVBox Everon, making use of secure OCPP 2.0.1 communication to the station. ✅ Upon scanning the QR code, drivers will be directed to a web page where they can instantly access the payment interface and start the transaction.
