🌍✈️EME leads WP6 Circular Airport efforts: Progress and future plans shared in Torino Anne Rademaker and Christian van Maaren had the opportunity to present the work accomplished so far and engage in fruitful discussions about the next steps towards making airports more circular and sustainable. What we've achieved so far: 📊 A detailed baseline assessment of 2019 https://lnkd.in/e_9uaaRd 🔄 Developed a comprehensive monitoring framework for airports on their journey to becoming circular 📂Launched a dynamic database to support waste prevention & reduction for #prio streams https://lnkd.in/gWnkACfP Looking forward: 🚀We're excited to continue the pilots related to terminal waste prevention and reduction at participating airports with TU Delft | Industrial Design Engineering  🏗️On the construction side, we'll focus on reusing construction assets, tracking them with tags and passports, and validating circular construction principles at airports Royal Schiphol Group Amsterdam, Avinor Oslo and Hermes Airports Ltd Larnaca.   The path to circular airports is challenging but incredibly rewarding, and we’re committed to driving these innovations forward.
