🍬 Ration sugar intake for the first 1000 days of life to reduce chronic diseases 🍎 🔍 A new study by researchers USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, University of California, Berkeley and McGill University shows that babies born in the UK during sugar rationing in Word War Two faced less risk of chronic disease in later life. Nathalie, your hard work has truly moved mountains, and while we’re sad to see you go, we’re thrilled for your next adventure! Chiara, your groundbreaking contributions to policy acceptance measurement have inspired us all. This isn’t goodbye; we know we’ll cross paths again! Now, onto the exciting part! 🎉 We’re thrilled to welcome three incredible new team members: Suvi Väisänen, Lauren May, and Toyin Akadiri! Last week at EIT Food’s #NextBite2024 in Rome was truly inspiring! For years, we’ve emphasized the key role of consumers in shaping the food system, and it was exciting to see this echoed by so many at the event.
