Revived and energized after the Get in the Ring Global Final! 🥊 🌎 What an unforgettable day! With participants flying in from around the world, we witnessed a fierce and inspiring display of entrepreneurial spirit. And now, we’re thrilled to announce our Global Winners: 🏆 The Global Final Winner, Hiroshi Shimomura! He didn’t just take the stage—he took the floor (literally!) to claim the title with a groundbreaking solution that’s redefining health and safety by preventing injuries from falls: 株式会社Magic Shields. His company’s impact will undoubtedly touch countless lives worldwide. 🏆 Youth Entrepreneur Winner, Connor Burdett from SEED (Sustainable & Empowering Energy Development) (representing Unknown University of Applied Sciences), stepped into the ring with an innovative, affordable solution for clean cooking gas production. SEED empowers farmers and communities to access safe, time-saving cooking options that open doors to education, health, and income opportunities. Mandy MUI and Selina Booi also deserve all the praise, taking their companies AKYAS Sanitation and Lusio Toys to the Global Final and Youth Battle, respectively, showcasing their determination and champion spirit! A massive thank-you to our champion jury, who faced the tough task of choosing a winner from such outstanding talent. Last week the national final of Get in the Ring Mozambique was held in Maputo. Together with Ester Wojasová, I had the pleasure to join the event and meet the participants! After 3 regional events in Maputo, Nampula, and Beira, 6 winners were chosen to attend the national Get in the Ring Mozambique final 🥊 in Maputo on the 20th of September: 1 Cláudia Machaieie, Sea Glasses 2 Isália Cardoso, Apolíneo   3 Lusineide Mucambe, Modestia 4 Félix Fernando , Agrolix 5 Gerson Nombora, Study Smart 6 Edmilson Kayce M. Novele, Tivane Game Studio Ringmaster Napula Alberto 🎤 , representing Toastmasters International, truly gave it his all, bringing the energy and personal stories of the startups to life for the audience. The jury faced the difficult task of selecting the 3 winners. We would like to thank the jury members DAVID FRANCO, Emeldina Simba and Licínio Chissano that choose the 3 winners: Isália Cardoso - Apolíneo, Lusineide Mucambe - Modestia and Edmilson Novele - Tivane Game Studio. The winners will join all the other national winners from all over the world on the 6th and 7th of November here in The Hague to join the Global Final. GET IN THE RING 🥊 A Cowork Lab através do projecto Djampa Startup Hub permitiu-me colectar nos últimos anos muitas experiências mas definitivamente a ideia de organizar uma competição de Pitch de negócios em um ringue, foi tão desafiadora quanto gratificante. Realizamos no dia 20 de Setembro a competição Nacional Get in the Ring.   Esta iniciativa começou a ser projectada lá em 2022, quando iniciamos com o programa de incubação, onde entre as questões mais presentes estavam a exposição ao mercado e oportunidades de financiamento.
