😅How to recap this 2024? 🎢Professionally has been such a rollercoaster and I had to deal with challenges and changes. 🤝Going Expat has been my safe haven, new collaborations have starterd and allowed me not only to provide a better service to my clients, but also to regain some confidence I have lost along the way. 🗣️Networking with other business owners gave me alternatives. And so now I have much more clarity on what will be my next steps. 🥂Cheers to each and any of you who have always belived in this project and in me. May this new year bring awareness and a bit of happiness to everybody 💫 🙌Happy 2025 folks!

✨Happy holidays! As expats or immigrants, Christmas holidays can be a struggle, especially if you just moved and have no many friends and no family around. My best wishes go to all of you who are spending your first holiday season abroad. Celebrate the way you can, it gets a bit melancholic along the way, but it also gets better, I promise! Be proud of you and your bravery. Happy holidays & Merry Christmas everyone ✨

“I don’t have local friends”, “Dutch people don’t care to be friend with Expats” “I don’t get their way to communicate” “The Dutch are rude!” I lost count of how many times I have heard these sentences, and I truly understand where the stereotype of the unfriendly Dutch people comes from. However, if we dive into the topic and the culture, you might change your mind and understand better how culture and language affect each other. Also how having, at least, the basic knowledge of both would make your life easier as an expat in The Netherlands. Vika Lukina and I are eager to listen to your stories and share with you how to finally integrate in the country. Join us on the 20th of January for an interesting and fun workshop online. ❓Very often people ask me how to make friends abroad? 😰It is not always easy, in fact when you move abroad and have to deal with a different culture and language the challenges might be many. 👍🏻One way is joining, or creating, groups that share your own passions. Exactly what Michelle did: she created a community out of a bookclub! 📹Check the video on YouTube to learn more, and if you are in the area, join us! 🔗in the first comment.

🤝Parenthood in the Netherlands - new collaboration 😰Moving abroad can be scary, if you do it with kids even more. As parent you probably keep on doubting yourself, you don’t know if it is the right decision to make, if they will be happy growing up, if they will get used to the new language etc… 👶🏻Deciding to have a baby abroad is another level of challenge. The health care system in the Netherlands might work totally different than the one back to your native county. Understanding the Dutch maternity, childcare, and schooling system can help you make informed decisions about what’s best for your family. Dawn from @tiny_expat guides you through the options. DM me to know more, and drop your question in the comment if you have any. 📲You can already join a parenting community through the “Socie” app. hurry up, this is for free!

We shouldn’t need a ranking about safest countries for women, but unfortunately we live in a society which still requires it. Take it in account when you move abroad or travel.
