😅How to recap this 2024? 🎢Professionally has been such a rollercoaster and I had to deal with challenges and changes. 🤝Going Expat has been my safe haven, new collaborations have starterd and allowed me not only to provide a better service to my clients, but also to regain some confidence I have lost along the way. 🗣️Networking with other business owners gave me alternatives. And so now I have much more clarity on what will be my next steps. 🥂Cheers to each and any of you who have always belived in this project and in me. May this new year bring awareness and a bit of happiness to everybody 💫 🙌Happy 2025 folks!

“I don’t have local friends”, “Dutch people don’t care to be friend with Expats” “I don’t get their way to communicate” “The Dutch are rude!” I lost count of how many times I have heard these sentences, and I truly understand where the stereotype of the unfriendly Dutch people comes from. ❓Very often people ask me how to make friends abroad? 😰It is not always easy, in fact when you move abroad and have to deal with a different culture and language the challenges might be many. 👍🏻One way is joining, or creating, groups that share your own passions. 🤝Parenthood in the Netherlands - new collaboration 😰Moving abroad can be scary, if you do it with kids even more. As parent you probably keep on doubting yourself, you don’t know if it is the right decision to make, if they will be happy growing up, if they will get used to the new language etc… 👶🏻Deciding to have a baby abroad is another level of challenge. We shouldn’t need a ranking about safest countries for women, but unfortunately we live in a society which still requires it. Take it in account when you move abroad or travel.
