𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 #𝟰: 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 Our journey in Silicon Valley wrapped up with an inspiring day that brought together corporates, startups, unicorns, and collaborations in Health & Pharma, all focused on driving innovation. AI remained a central theme, highlighting its transformative role in healthcare. We started at the Health Expo, hosted at the Plug and Play Health Center. Presentations from AstraZeneca, Bayer and Roche emphasized the importance of partnerships with startups and research institutions to tackle global healthcare challenges. Speed dating sessions with health startups gave us the chance to connect with innovative thinkers. A standout moment was our conversation with the Mayo Clinic, where we explored their use of technology to enhance patient outcomes. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀 Huma a leading healthcare technology unicorn, shared insights on their AI-powered platform for real-time health data and remote patient monitoring. Their work exemplifies how digital health solutions can transform care delivery. Innovaccer showcased their healthcare SaaS platform, which integrates patient and provider data to improve care coordination. Their approach highlights the growing importance of data-driven healthcare solutions. 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 We concluded our day and trip at the iconic Google Campus, where we explored “Gemini,” Google’s latest AI innovation. This advanced system holds promise for improving diagnostics, patient care, and operational efficiencies, reinforcing the role of AI in addressing critical health challenges. Reflecting on this week of connections, ideas, and collaborations, we’re excited to bring new energy back to Amsterdam. The lessons learned here will strengthen our ecosystem at Hid and propel innovation forward. Thank you for following our journey—until the next adventure! 🚀

𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 #𝟯: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 Today, Anouk Wagenaar and Elsemieke Hackenitz immersed themselves in the world of startups and innovation during the Plug and Play Tech Center Summit. The day was packed with networking, engaging with deep tech and AI-driven life science startups, and exploring the latest advancements in the health sector during the fireside lunch. A highlight was visiting the historic Lucky Building, an incubator that has nurtured companies like Logitech, Google, PayPal and BridgeBio Pharma. This iconic space has consistently fostered environments where groundbreaking ideas can grow—an approach we aim to mirror at Hid. We also had the opportunity to learn from Archetype AI a startup revolutionizing the Internet of Things (IoT) by combining it with advanced sensors. IoT connects devices—from home appliances to industrial systems—enabling data exchange. Archetype AI takes this further, integrating AI and sensors to create devices that “sense” their environment, enabling smarter, real-time responses. This fusion of digital and physical worlds presents transformative potential for healthcare, logistics, and beyond. Another standout visit was to Aera Technology, a leader in decision intelligence. Their approach leverages AI to optimize and automate business decisions, significantly reducing costs and manual workload. Aera’s solutions are especially impactful in the pharmaceutical industry, where they streamline processes and drive efficiency. Reflecting on the connections made and the inspiration gained, we’re eager to bring these insights back to empower the startups and innovators within our own ecosystem. Stay tuned for more updates as our Silicon Valley journey continues!
