Exploring Marty Cagan’s Product Operating Model! Last Thursday, we hosted a taster workshop on Marty Cagan’s Product Operating Model (POM). It was good to exchange insights with professionals from Schiphol, Flatpay, Wonderkind, and ASML. Thank you Joel Laumans, Laurens de KnijffSaskia Riedstra , Menno Meeldijk, and Derek Fidler for sharing initial insights into your product operating model. The session was a good starting point, and there is still much to explore on how the operating model is experienced from different perspectives. Key takeaways from the session • The POM isn’t just for product teams — it impacts the entire organization, cross discipline • There’s no one-size-fits-all approach — figure out what works for the people in your organisation • Moving towards the POM means embracing uncertainty — focus on a mindshift to adapt when necessary • Aligning priorities across teams is crucial — co-create priorities with your team and communicate them across departments to ensure alignment • Measure and iterate—map out where you stand today across the POM pillars, set priorities, and revisit in six months to track progress and adjust where needed. It was an engaging session, and we're excited to continue the conversation! How does your team move towards the Product Operating Model? Let’s discuss in the comments! #ProductOperatingModel #ProductLeadership #ProductManagement #Workshop #ContinuousImprovement

  • What should you take into consideration when moving to Figma? This is what our Figma experts Felix Mauricio Fraile Schumacher and Tjapko Vermeulen shared during a knowledge session at DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs). The main takeaways:  1. Map all processes and tools, and which tools Figma will replace 2. For every spot you’ll use Figma as a replacement, create a proof of concept of how it should work 3. Test this concept with your users (designers, design system team, development, PM’er, PO’s, BA’s, etc.). In the end everything is about testing and iterating, also when it comes to your design operation ;) We love to share our tips and tricks with product teams, so if you're looking to improve your product operating model, get in touch! #figma #toolMigration #productOperatingModel #designOperations

  • It's time to catch up! We foster long-term relationships, not only with our clients but also with our colleagues from the past ❤️ During our Hike One alumni event, we enjoyed good conversation, food, and drinks with the people who joined us from the beginning. It was amazing to hear about how they've been and the companies where they are currently working. We're proud that so many of our old colleagues still feel like Hikers 🫶 #HikeOne #team #celebration

  • What is the right design system tool for you? It depends... The right tool saves time and effort for the product team, enables collaboration, and increases visibility & adoption. Things to consider: 1. Budget and team The seats and roles you need and the resources you have available will automatically limit your choices. 2. Workflow integration Aligning with your existing tools will save you time, money and possibly difficult discussions. 3. Scalability Take into account the future growth of your system, and how you will handle version control. 4. Flexibility What do you need to accommodate your unique workflow, branding or formats? 5. Automation Do you need a tool that can auto-synch, auto-update and auto-write for you? Our Design System experts have updated the design system comparison sheet with all the pro's and con's 🔗 https://lnkd.in/da9C4T-A Drop a message if you're currently considering which tool to use, or face challenges in maturing your Design system.
