Throwback to Holy Swap! On Tour Event #1 at Karma Kebab in Utrecht. It’s #weekvandecirculaireeconomie, an ideal moment to share 1) how exciting and impactful celebrating life with what's already there can be 🥳 2) that from April we will be in Amsterdam and Utrecht every month to encourage local reuse 🚀 👮🏻♂️✅  Nearly 500 items passed our quality check, saving them from landfills or unnecessary shipping elsewhere.  📍♻️ Half of all items found new homes locally, saving raw materials and reducing carbon emissions for unnecessary new production or shipping. 🫱🏻🫲🏾 The other half is gearing up for next events or donated to a local thrift shop. 💫 And as you can see, people circulated not only stuff but good vibes too! Last Thursday at Eurosonic (ESNS), Danny pitched Holy Swap! as one of seven pioneers making the festival industry greener and more inclusive. In the run-up to a festival, many visitors buy new stuff. So the responsibility on sustainability of festival organizations starts even before visitors walk through the gate. With Holy Swap! we offer a solution that enriches the festival with a heavenly community-stimulating activity and helps visitors and festivals minimize their impact. A win-win-win! For the Green & Inclusive project, DGTL, Revolution Foundation, Oerol Festival and Innofest have joined forces to create test cases at their festivals. This summer, we are testing at Oerol 🤩 With our participation in this program, we want to learn whether offering our services in a festival environment is interesting for visitors, festival organizations, and Holy Swap! itself.
