In flat glass manufacturing, achieving clarity and precision is crucial. As seen in this past project of HyGear. Where we realized a reliable on-site hydrogen production system for a client in the glass industry. When producing flat glass, hydrogen gas is utilized over the surface of the molten glass as it floats on a bed of molten tin. This is done to maintain the glass’s flatness and clarity. The hydrogen gas serves to prevent the tin from reacting with air, regulate the temperature, and enhance the overall quality of the glass. We are proud to play a key role in the EReTech consortium for sustainable biohydrogen production.
