In the realm of Advocacy and Empowerment, organizations like VOICE TO THE STREET, Women & the Wind, Apne Aap International, and Humerashahid.org are tirelessly uplifting marginalized voices and promoting gender equality. They create platforms for dialogue and provide essential resources, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard and valued. When it comes to Health and Well-Being, NGOs such as Diyalo Foundation, Roots of Health, Sylvester, CHIP - NGO Pakistan, and Active Ageing Initiative (AGI) and Mother’s Heart Uganda address critical health challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Their focus on reproductive health, mental well-being, and holistic family programs ensures individuals and families have access to necessary resources to thrive. In the area of Education and Capacity Building, organizations like Elephant Valley Project, Kamboo Project, and Little Angels emphasize learning and skill development. They work to break down barriers to education, providing vocational training and support that empowers individuals, particularly children and those with disabilities. Lastly, Live With Earth and Chocolate Has A Name are champions of Environment and Sustainability. 🌟 𝗡𝗚𝗢 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗺𝗲🌟 We’re excited to feature Boroume, an amazing organization dedicated to reducing food waste and fighting hunger, and the meaningful work our students have accomplished with them last year! Boroume (“We Can”) is a non-profit organization in Greece focused on reducing food waste and fighting food insecurity. Through various programs, Boroume rescues surplus food from markets, fields, and businesses, redistributing it to charities. Since 2012, Boroume has saved over 85 million portions of food, preventing the release of 125 million kg of CO2 equivalent into the atmosphere. Recognized for their impact, Boroume received the European Citizenship Award in 2017 and actively participates in the EU Platform on Food Waste. 🎞 The I DO consultants analyzed Boroume's operational struggles and proposed collaborating with students from the American College in Athens, to boost their social media presence. The students from Athens were eager to create dynamic content, including branching out to TikTok, helping Boroume strengthen its digital outreach and engagement. This will be a long term relationship between the university and Boroume and hopefully will yield strong results. We're proud of the what our students have made in supporting Boroume’s mission! Their contributions not only strengthened Boroume's impact but also provided them with valuable, hands-on experience. We’re excited to see the future achievements of Boroume. Last Weeks Recap! 🌟 Last Monday, our students continued their journey by diving into the structure of their assignments. 💼 They started the week by learning the essential structure of their upcoming assignments. The Academic team provided valuable insights on approaching their work effectively, offered writing tips, and shared practical strategies to ensure their projects make a lasting impact. Friday was all about feedback and refining ideas!💡Students previously had an exciting session with our founders, where they received insightful feedback on how to best support their assigned NGOs. A special thanks goes to Telma Perre, Head of the Academic, who joined to provide expert advice and answer any questions the students had, ensuring they feel fully supported moving forward. 🙌 Our teams are making great progress, and we can’t wait to see the incredible work they will accomplish! 📅 Last Weeks Recap: Strategic Insights and Consumer Psychology! Last week at the I DO Project brought two insightful lectures that took our students deeper into the strategic position of their NGOs and the psychology behind consumer behavior. The week kicked off with a session on NGO Positioning and Impact Mapping, where students worked through interactive exercises to identify the unique aspects of their NGO as well as defining the goals of their collaboration this year and outlined key action points to drive meaningful impact. In addition, students learned how to systematically connect actions to outcomes through the Impact Mapping technique. This hands-on lecture aimed to help students build well-thought strategic plans for their NGOs. Later in the week, we shifted focus to an engaging session on Consumer Psychology delivered by Thomas Vlaming. Thomas introduced the concept of word associations—what people naturally think of when they hear certain words—and explored how biases can influence behavior. With his relaxed, engaging style, Thomas made the subject both fun and thought-provoking, giving students valuable new perspectives for their consulting work. Following the lecture, the teams had the chance to meet with Lennart Corleissen and Vincent Jahn, the founders of I DO Project. The founders took an indepth view of the students cases and experiences, and offered valuable advice for the students in tackling consulting challenges. Last week was packed with memorable lessons, and we’re excited to see how the students will apply these insights in the coming months! 💡✨ #IDOProject #RSM #leadership #NGOs #impact #impactmapping #studentconsulting #consulting #education #consumerpsychology

Special thanks to our founders, Lennart Corleissen and Vincent Jahn, for speaking to our students and while they couldn't be with us in person this time, we are thrilled that they will join us for an upcoming lecture soon. Now all thats left is for our amazing project managers Jisu Kwon, Kyleen Rachel Teh, Manuel Veiga & Mika Leon Belchhaus to reach out to their teams and push them in the right direction. 🚀🌟 This first lecture has set a strong foundation for a dynamic year ahead.
