Mooie bijdrage dus! Help je mee? Stuur ons een PB, mail (info@impact-now.org) of bel ons (06-18804890) voor meer informatie! #lvb #onlineseksueleuitbuiting #aanpakmensenhandel Anne-Marie de Brouwer Lia Kleuskens Karlijn Straver

The first week of our online Winter School (together with Tilburg University, Outreaching Honors Program) has ended. We had a very productive week discussing contemporary and past conflicts where conflict-related sexual violence, human trafficking, and 'sexual terrorism' have been/are committed. What are ways to prevent and address these crimes? Thanks goes to our active participants from all over the world and our guest speakers Ella van den Heuvel and Denise Mwenedata. Next week to be continued 💪

The Dutch National Rapporteur has looked into statements of 124 witnesses who were kept in Libya under dehumanizing circumstances and only released after payment of randsome. It shows the grimm side of migration and the lack of protection for migrants who have been trafficked on route. Important research which shows the multitude ways in which profit can be made of migrants (in a general context of lawnessness and lack of accountability and protection
