“Mojo Maté is not just another organic energy drink—it's a movement that challenges the way we think about sourcing, production, and the impact a brand can and should have.” As one of our Food Pioneers Program alumni, we are invested in the journey of Mojo Maté. This article by Emily Rendel outlines how they are making regenerative business practices the new normal. As a sustainable business, your ability to tell your story compellingly is vital. After two months of online sessions, we were thrilled to finally welcome the winners of the Built by Nature prize to Amsterdam for a Bootcamp on storytelling. This masterclass was the perfect preparation for the Built by Nature Summit, where they honed skills to craft their stories in ways that build trust, engage stakeholders, and inspire action towards a sustainable and circular economy. Storytelling is a powerful tool every innovator needs. In just a few minutes, it can help them connect with their next partner, investor, or client. That’s why we partnered with speaker-coach and playwright Annemarie Wisse to help the winners perfect their storytelling. The following day, at the Built by Nature Summit, we were proud to see the winners engaging in impactful conversations with industry leaders, driving their mission forward. It was more than networking, it was about bridging the gap between innovation and market adoption, and helping these pioneers secure their place in the value chain. Thank you Built by Nature for organizing such a well-rounded event! Are you a leader in the building industry looking to innovate and collaborate with these pioneering entrepreneurs? Reach out to Program Manager Christiaan Glerum to explore opportunities. We are committed to contributing to a regenerative economy. Part of this effort is fostering a regenerative ecosystem that will support regenerative entrepreneurs. Our Director Manon Klein shared some important insights on this topic at #ImpactFest last week in ImpactCity the Hague. Her talk explored the complexities of regenerative entrepreneurship, and what kind of support and expertise is needed. One of the highlights was the first-ever mapping of the Dutch regenerative ecosystem, created by our team at Impact Hub! This visual captures the diverse range of actors involved in regenerative entrepreneurship—from experts and educators to pioneers, policymakers, and investors Want to dive deeper into the Regenerative ecosystem? Check out our upcoming Ecosystem event on Dec 12th (invite only, but you can request an invite): https://lnkd.in/dvE-HMUb We’re eager to continue this work in the ecosystem, and to keep the conversation going! Think we’ve missed a key player in this wheel? Drop their name in the comments below.

One of the best things about Impact Hub is our team and culture! In October we went on a team retreat together: we collaborated on cooking challenges, brainstormed big ideas for next year, had the best catering from Stichting Kolenkitkoks and reconnected with some quintessential Dutch landscapes in Kockengen. It’s a privilege to work with such dedicated, passionate people as we push forward towards a more innovative and circular economy. Here’s to a refreshed team, ready to take on the journey ahead!

Last week, the Food Chain Accelerator cohort embarked on a regenerative journey with farmer Joost van Schie and trainer Marielle Gussenhoven at Boerderij De Eenzaamheid in Warmond. During a tour of the farm we learned all about regenerative (dairy) farming, but our biggest insights came from Joost’s entrepreneurship and how he positions himself and de Eenzaamheid from a system’s perspective. Recognizing the importance, and power of collaboration, Joost has diversified his income streams through setting up the store franchise Oogst, where you can buy local organic products from farms and other food distributors nearby. Each town sells its own local products with a self-checkout system. Each individual Oogst store thus encourages the consumer to buy more locally, more often. In the afternoon, we were joined by Marielle - an expert in marketing for impact entrepreneurship, who facilitated a workshop on branding and helped the 11 entrepreneurs in the program reflect deeply on the positioning of their brand by challenging them on their purpose, promise, and product. A big thank you to the entrepreneurs and to Joost, Marielle, and the volunteers at de Eenzaamheid for making this wonderful day happen! We are already looking forward to more exciting workshop days to come, stay tuned.

𝐄𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐣!
