We're proud to announce that STM has joined the newly formed Creative Rights in AI Coalition. As generative AI continues to reshape the landscape of innovation, protecting copyright and fostering collaboration between the creative and tech sectors has never been more crucial.   The Coalition is calling on the UK government to adopt three guiding principles for AI policy: - Dynamic licensing markets – Respect for copyright underpins innovation and ensures a sustainable ecosystem for creative works. - Transparency – Creators deserve control over how their works are used and clear accountability from AI developers. - Growth & innovation – Robust copyright protections fuel economic growth in the creative and tech sectors while enabling the UK to lead globally in this space. Our goal? Last week was incredible - from presenting at the Vesalius Innovation Awards to attending #STM2024! 🎯 Research integrity and AI in scholarly publishing took central stage at STM , reinforcing our belief that technology should empower, not replace, human expertise. The discussions were inspiring and productive - I'm leaving these events with a clear action plan for Prophy. Exciting announcements coming soon! Thank you to the Karger Publishers team and STM organizers for bringing our community together.
