Developing efficient image-guided treatment workflows to replace complex procedures in cardiology, oncology & neurology
Over ons
The overall objective of SIGNET is to develop efficient image-guided treatment workflows to replace currently complex procedures in cardiology, oncology and neurology. We develop systems and technologies, AI-enabled products and solutions, necessary to ultimately realize the North Star of single-episode, personalized, dose-adaptive, high-precision Magnetic Resonance guided treatments and interventions. These technologies and solutions aim to improve patient comfort, safety, treatment outcome, staff availability and economic viability. We focus on use cases where alternative image guidance approaches are either not feasible or where the value of direct MR visualization is obvious.

Mind blowing achievement SIGNET (ITEA Project Number 20052) Cardiology Use Case Team (Philips, Amsterdam UMC, Imricor, LifeTec Group™ , Adas3D Medical) ! Proud of you! ITEA Office - thanks for supporting this INNOVATION CHAIN - true demonstration of public private partnerships!
Beating pig heart in the MRI for SIGNET (ITEA Project Number 20052) 🤩 Yesterday, we managed, in collaboration with LifeTec Group™ and Philips to have an explanted beating pig heart in the MRI🧲 We made images to visualize the function and tissue characteristics of the heart and we performed a real-time MR-guided endocardial ventricular ablation using the catheters and navigation system of Imricor and a 3D heart model of Adas3D Medical 🔥 Moreover, ECGs inside the MRI were recorded using the PinMed, Inc. MR-compatible ECG system, giving us direct epicardial electrograms⚡️ 💪 Wonderful accomplishment from this multidisciplinary team. Thanks Team Imricor (Dan Sunnarborg , Zane Meyer) for visiting Philips . Quite some good work done and also lots of learning in three days last week. Together, we moved a few steps closer towards realizing the North Star of single-episode, personalized, dose-adaptive, high-precision Magnetic Resonance guided treatments and interventions in the area of cardiology. Thanks Jouke Smink, Michel Jurrissen and rest of the Philips colleagues in facilitating this successful activity.
