In times of gathering and end of year celebrations- here are some handful tips to implement: 1- Clear out pathways and minimise obstacles as much as possible. High visibility tape helps too. 2- Assign holiday helpers if you need to: Find a friend or family member to assist anyone who may need extra support during the event. 2- Incorporate multisensory decorations like tactile, scented, and sound-based accents to enhance the festive experience. 3- Plan inclusive activities with verbal menus, descriptive games like charades, or other engaging options for all guests. 4- Be as verbally descriptive as you can! A little planning makes the holidays more inclusive for all!
