2024 was an incredible year for us at Envision, full of milestones, innovations, and inspiring moments achieved together. 🎉 Here’s a look back at some highlights: This year, we received honorable mentions from Google and Meta for showcasing how their advanced AI models enhance the Envision Glasses, ally, and the Envision App—bringing transformative support to our community. At Inclusive Innovations 2024 (#InIn24), we hosted our best event yet in Rotterdam! We welcomed 11 groundbreaking innovators who unveiled solutions for people living with dyslexia, sight loss, hearing loss, mobility challenges, and beyond. For the first time, we expanded our focus to a broader spectrum of disabilities, making this year extra special. We also launched the public beta of ally, the everywhere AI assistant that offers snappy, personalized support. ally is already building a thriving beta community where thousands share stories of how it enhances their everyday lives. This year, we collaborated with longtime Envisioners Ilona, Brian, and Ben on an inspiring video series, showcasing how the Envision Glasses and ally seamlessly integrate into their unique lifestyles and routines. From Sight City to CSUN, Sight Village, NIB, and beyond, we traveled far and wide, sharing our mission and demonstrating our assistive technology to the world.
