We have utilised various ways of remote monitoring for our patients to allow them to take responsibility of their condition with medical input, and have found that working closely with Luscii has allowed us to do this, now having 10+ pathways on the Luscii digital App. We have close collaborative working with a delegated Luscii representative to allow for immediate and quick alterations and updates." Thank you to Christiaan van Swol, Elke van Beek, Bart Becx and others for hosting us at St. Antonius Ziekenhuis last Friday 🏥 Their vision for delivering hybrid care was inspiring and it was great to see their teams in action and to share best practices between the UK, German and Dutch teams during the visit 🇳🇱🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇩🇪 One patient's words stuck with me: "I love my doctor but I'd rather be at home with my wife", reminding me how impactful it can be to avoid long hospital stays and to support patients to be cared for in their own homes 🏡 Thanks for having us Luscii - an OMRON Healthcare service | #remotemonitoring

So, what did I bring from the digitally rigid and over-regulated Germany to the swift and innovative Netherlands? The power to balance two distinct yet strong mindsets at once: the rigorous precision of a perfectionist culture and the daring spirit of bold innovation. Both approaches, when applied with intention, create a synergy that drives impactful outcomes. In healthcare, as in life, there’s a place for both precision and audacity—knowing when to lean into each is the key to forward momentum for when everybody eventually learns to boldly innovate it will come back to precision and excellence again. I also told the story of how I brought digital health to life with my Luscii Program Spine Care and exemplified how this creates life value that we still fail to fully put into metrics and sustainable reimbursement. And I do believe that our small but consistent incremental steps aligned with a disruptive mindset will render the healthcare system as we know it obsolete! …you might have noticed I skipped my titles during the event and in my presentation. This wasn’t an oversight but a choice. My hope is to foster genuine discussion and allow contributions to stand on their own, valued for their substance rather than any formal labels.
