Dit kabinet laat vrouwen die opkomen voor hun rechten keihard vallen Het Nederlandse kabinet zwicht voor ultraconservatieve en autocratische krachten die vrouwenrechten en gendergelijkheid ondermijnen. De recent aangekondigde plannen van minister Klever zullen een verwoestende impact hebben. En ze luiden het einde in van Nederlands leiderschap in het steunen van maatschappelijke organisaties en vrouwenrechtenbewegingen op grote schaal. Gendergelijkheid is geen luxe, het is een voorwaarde voor veiligheid en welvaart. Als we gendergelijkheid en vrouwenrechten nu de rug toekeren, leidt dat tot een verdere afbraak van rechten en tot instabiliteit en conflicten over de hele wereld. Wij roepen het kabinet en de Tweede Kamer op om deze plannen ongedaan te maken. Laat je horen en steun vrouwen, meiden, trans en intersekse mensen die zich inzetten voor rechtvaardigheid en gelijkwaardigheid voor iedereen. Utsopi viert historische mijlpaal voor sekswerkers in België Sekswerkers in België hebben sinds 1 december toegang tot arbeidscontracten, inclusief zwangerschapsverlof, pensioenopbouw en ontslagbescherming – een wereldprimeur! Utsopi, de Belgische unie van sekswerkers en subsidiepartner van Mama Cash, noemt deze wet “noodzakelijk voor een goede balans en een respectvolle, eerlijke relatie tussen sekswerker en uitbater”, aldus de NOS. https://lnkd.in/dwPSVW_P Na de legalisering van sekswerk in 2022, waarvoor Utsopi jarenlang heeft gestreden, is dit een nieuwe mijlpaal in de strijd voor de rechten van sekswerkers.
