Mediamatic is a centre for new art forms focusing on biology, food, sustainability and society. We organize exhibitions, salons, lectures, workshops and screenings. We develop art and design projects. Also, we have a great vegan restaurant on the water side in Amsterdam and meeting spaces voor 10—200 people groups. Medimatic is a not–for–profit foundation under Dutch law (Culturele AMBI) Founded in 1983, Mediamatic has been closely involved in the exploration of new art forms in the realm of electronic media. Mediamatic Lab, Mediamatic IP and Mediamatic Netles were affiliate organisations that are not active at the moment.
