Mpumelelo Ndlovu Foundation

The Mpumelelo Ndlovu Foundation (The Foundation) is a school-driven charitable organization based in the Netherlands. Its objectives derive from the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Number 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The Organisation is school-driven in that the school determines and prioritizes its needs, and the donors address the requirements as determined by the recipient school. The Foundation combats the twin problems of education quality and accessibility by using modern machine learning and sustainability principles to anticipate school challenges and using former students to crowd-source its solutions. he Foundation’s Objective is that by 2030, we should be able to: - Give every school child under Chief Sogwala at least one textbook per year - Give every girl child over 12 years at least one packet of sanitary pads a year - Drill at least one borehole per village - Provide scholarships for at least 1 Grade 7 and 1 O'Level student per school year. These will be announced in a Prize-giving ceremony that we will assist with. - Create a structured and well-functioning old students' association per high school in the area. - Sponsor an inter-school writing competition to raise awareness about issues that affect children in other African countries.
