As many of you know, In my free time, I am the co-founder of Moqqie, an innovative AI (video) pre-screening solution that is helping many businesses. Let me explain why: In one of my previous jobs, I helped my colleagues find the best candidate for a sales position. We spent over 16 hours on initial phone calls with people who were unsuitable for the job for various reasons. 📲 I asked myself and my colleagues, what can we do to avoid wasting time on these candidates? One colleague seemed to have a brilliant idea: using video pre-screening software for just 250 euros per year. We decided to give it a try, and you know what? Exactly one month later, we realized that it was the worst idea ever! 😂 We spent even more hours watching videos of candidates answering the same questions repeatedly, evaluating them without clear criteria, using a messy Excel file, and relying on inconsistent judgment to decide who should move to the next interview stage. 📹 Months later, we finally hired the right person. By then, it was too late, but you know what? Emad and I found the solution to the problem that all recruiters face: A problem that prevents them from focusing on what truly matters. We wondered, what if we created a pre-screening audio/video tool where Mia, an AI recruiter, could handle this tedious task by asking defined questions and scoring each candidate's answers? The result? IMPRESSIVE! 🚀 Before we move forward, let's explain it better: Mia conducts interviews by asking predefined questions decided by us, in an audio format. It uses natural language processing to understand and evaluate candidates' responses based on specific criteria we set for each question, such as relevance, completeness, and keyword usage. Mia then assigns scores to the responses and provides a summary of the candidate's performance, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and an overall recommendation (Mia scores from 0 to 10). This automation ensures a consistent and efficient screening process, allowing human recruiters to focus on more critical tasks. In a few points: 🖌 -You create the questions Mia will ask the candidates. -You define the rules Mia uses to evaluate the answers. -You receive a score for each answer and an overall score for the candidate's interview. Using this tool daily continues to impress us with its capabilities and the benefits it provides. We are consistently amazed by the immense value it delivers, and after a long discussion with Emad, we decided we couldn't keep it just for ourselves. ✨ In the last few months, many businesses have started to use it.
