This week, a group of NEM employees had the unique opportunity to visit the combined heat and power (CHP) plant in the city of Leiden – the very place where NEM was founded. The plant features a NEM heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) that plays a crucial role in providing efficient district heating for the community of Leiden. Witnessing our technology at work in a city so deeply tied to our history was both inspiring and humbling. NEM Energy Group starts working with Power Perdana Nusantara (PPN) as local partner for the Geothermal power generation market in Indonesia. PPN was already active in other segments for NEM, but the existing agreement has been extended to Geothermal heat exchangers, coming from the NEM Balcke-Dürr portfolio.
