Malaysia plays a vital role in our global expansion strategy to enhance our position in advanced electronics development for semicon solutions. 🇲🇾 Malaysia maintains a strong foothold in cutting-edge electronics development and production, increasingly serving as a critical semiconductor industry hub. We plan to source over 80% of our components from Malaysian suppliers, showcasing the robust local semiconductor ecosystem. Our unique MIDA collaboration marks a significant step as we scale up Neways Malaysia into a fully-equipped site, dedicated to serving our most demanding global customers. Fuji has supported Neways in developing and rolling out the Factory of the Future program across Neways, achieving significant operational performance improvements. Last but certainly not least, NCAB represents a great example of how to drive sustainability as part of their business. 🤝𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 We are excited to announce our groundbreaking agreement with Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali of the INAF - Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica. 🚀 IAPS and Neways have agreed that Neways will undertake the manufacturing development and production of the Front-End Board for the Detector Assembly in the Lunar Electromagnetic Monitor of X-rays (LEM-X) project and partner up in the development of a demonstration model. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry (eXTP) mission. The eXTP missions is a future satellite designed to study extreme states of matter density, gravity, and magnetism. It is intended to be launched in 2027. ✨ Our collaboration will bring to life the LEM-X unique front-end readout electronics and detector technology with the goal of studying X-ray emitting astrophysical transients and sources using instrumentation in orbit around the Earth and on the surface of the Moon. 🔭 We are excited to contribute to answering key questions in fundamental physics by observing neutron stars, black holes, and other high-energy astrophysical phenomena.
