🚀 A Thrilling Experience at OWASP! 🚀 Last week, I had the honour of presenting at OWASP BeNeLux 2024 Conference, where we explored how AI is revolutionizing application security. The conference featured great topics from incredible speakers, sparking insightful discussions across the cybersecurity community. The OWASP BeNeLux Days Conference 2024 was a blast! Yesterday, our booth was buzzing with activity (and Sigrid® demos). We enjoyed connecting with many attendees, discussing software security, and open-source risks, and loved showing how our software assurance platform can help. 💻🔐 But that wasn't all. Our experts created a special code Cluedo challenge, which was an excellent chance for contenders to put their skills to the test and win some amazing prizes! 🏆 Special congratulations to the winners of our CodeCluedo contest! Lastly, our Senior Principal Expert, Rob van der Veer, delivered the closing keynote of the conference titled "AI - The New Beginning?" His lighthearted take on the future of artificial intelligence was perfect to end the eventful day. #Leadership #Innovation #OWASP #Event

Yesterday was an incredibly inspiring day as I attended the OWASP BeNeLux Days conference in Utrecht. One of the highlights of the event was meeting Rob van der Veer, the leader of the OWASP AI Exchange project. 𝐑𝐨𝐛 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐈, and it was my first time meeting him in person. It was truly an amazing experience. The European countries have also elected the founder of the OWASP AI Exchange to become co-editor of the AI Act security standard, further strengthening OWASP’s role in driving this critical work. 👏 On a related note, we at OWASP AI Exchange managed to get 70 pages of our work accepted into the global standard on AI security: 𝐈𝐒𝐎/𝐈𝐄𝐂 27090. Additionally, the same work from the OWASP AI Exchange plays a key role in the AI Act security standards. 🎉 I was also thrilled to meet two Iranian professionals who are doing incredible work in the fields of software security. Their expertise and achievements were truly inspiring! Proud of you, Shima Rafizadeh and Milad M.!👏👏 In addition to Rob, meeting Martin Knobloch, who has been contributing to OWASP for over 17 years, was another highlight of the day. 👏 This conference was not just an event—it was an opportunity to network, learn, and expand perspectives in the fields of software security and AI. Huge thanks to all the organizers and participants for making this such a memorable experience. 🙏
