Together, we transformed their idea into a reality, from product DNA and ergonomic design to prototyping, tooling, and manufacturing the trial batch. This cross-team collaboration exemplified our shared focus on usability and sustainability. Today, Leo helps extend the life of devices with USB-C chargers, like smartphones and headphones, by optimizing charging behavior for better long-term battery health. And now, the first full-scale batch has been produced at our Taiwan facilities and delivered to the Netherlands. • 🎨🧗♀️𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗘𝗨 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲🤣 It was an early Amsterdam morning when the Pilotfish EU squad descended upon the city like a well-organized, slightly wet from the rain invasion 🌧️. What was supposed to be a serious strategic retreat quickly transformed into a perfect blend of professional prowess and team bonding 🤝 that would become legendary in company lore. Day one kicked off with OKR retrospective sessions that were anything but boring 📝. The teams dove deep into strategy sessions, mapping out future innovations that could potentially change how humans interact with technology 💡. The conference room buzzed with sketches, passionate debates, and the kind of collaborative energy that transforms good ideas into revolutionary concepts ⚡. On the second day, after brains had been thoroughly exercised 🧠, came the physical challenge: an indoor climbing session that would test our team's literal and metaphorical ability to reach new heights 🧗♂️. Designers who spent their days crafting intricate human-centered devices now found themselves conquering artificial climbing walls with the same precision they applied to their design work. Picture project managers supporting industrial designers as they navigated climbing routes, each movement a testament to the team's collaborative spirit 🙌. Marketing strategists cheered from below, their enthusiasm as carefully constructed as the devices Pilotfish creates 📣. As the adventure concluded, the team didn't just return home with professional insights. They carried a box of signature Amsterdam butter cookies 🍪—a sweet memento of their shared experience. But more importantly, they returned with an incredible warmth in their hearts ❤️, and a renewed sense of connection that would fuel their innovative spirit. Maeva Schaller remarked, "We came to Amsterdam to align our vision, and we left with something much more profound—a deeper understanding of each other and our collective potential." ✨ #TeamBuilding #Innovation #Pilotfish #Collaboration #HumanizingTechnology #OKR #ClimbingChallenge #ProfessionalGrowth #TeamSpirit #MemoriesMade #DesignThinking #HumanFactor

  • **Augmented Reality: Transforming Surgery and Beyond** 💡 🎮 At #Medica2024, one trend stood out: the integration of augmented reality to enhance human capabilities in healthcare. The VOSTARS headset exemplifies how AR can revolutionize surgery by providing surgeons with real-time, submillimeter-accurate patient data directly in their field of view, eliminating the need to glance at external monitors. 📊✨ Created as part of the VOSTARS research project a few years ago, this headset remains a shining example of how #MedTech innovations can meet the demands of today’s operating rooms on a global scale. That’s why we are bringing this case study to the attention of the healthcare community—to showcase how human-centered design and AR technology can work together to address modern surgical challenges. 🤝🌍 This innovation addresses one of modern surgery’s biggest challenges: enabling greater precision while minimizing cognitive and physical strain. At Pilotfish, we prioritized the #HumanFactor by designing an ergonomic visor that reduces neck strain and seamlessly integrates into surgical workflows. By transforming complex AR technology into an intuitive and user-friendly tool, we helped empower surgeons to focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional patient care.👨⚕️ The opportunities for AR in healthcare are vast: from diagnostics to surgical guidance and beyond. Human Centred Innovator

🆙 #MEDICA 2024: a glimpse into the future of healthcare My trip to MEDICA 2024 beginning this week was a nice get-together with friends and relations shaping the future of healthcare. Most of our target MedTech Innovators were in Halls 12, 13, and 14. As a #MedTech product innovator and developer focused on #IoMT and human-centered design, I found the exhibition to be a treasure trove of inspiration and technological advancements, and this is what I learned: ✔️ Digital Health: the cornerstone of innovation Hall 13 was a hub of digital health innovations, perfectly aligning with Pilotfish's focus on IoMT and wearables. The MEDICA HEALTH IT FORUM showcased cutting-edge developments in AI, big data, and cybersecurity, all crucial and exciting elements in the evolving landscape of connected healthcare. ✔️ Wearable Technologies Show: a highlight for IoMT enthusiasts The WT | #Wearable Technologies Show in Hall 13 was one of the most exciting areas. This pavilion featured over 45 exhibitors showcasing the latest wearable health technology and is worthwhile visiting. Key highlights included: - Mobile monitoring and patient care solutions  - Wearables for chronic diseases and mobility problems - Devices for the treatment and prevention of lifestyle diseases These innovations perfectly align with Pilotfish's vision of creating products that become more valuable through use and AI integration. ✔️ Bridging healthcare and technology The MEDICA START-UP PARK in Hall 13 was particularly inspiring, offering a glimpse into the future through the eyes of innovative #startups. This aligns well with our entrepreneurial spirit at Pilotfish and our focus on accelerating medical product innovation while securing a safe, reliable, sustainable, and commercial outcome. ✔️ Med Tech & Devices: pushing boundaries In Hall 12, the "Med Tech & Devices" sphere showcased advanced imaging systems and state-of-the-art surgical instruments. The demonstration of robotic-assisted surgery platforms was particularly intriguing, highlighting the increasing role of automation in healthcare – a trend that resonates with our interest in human-centered innovation. ✔️ Looking Ahead: the future of healthcare design MEDICA 2024 reinforced the idea that the future of healthcare will be more digital, more personalized, and more interconnected than ever before. As we at Pilotfish continue to innovate in IoMT and wearables, the insights gained from this exhibition will be invaluable in shaping our approach to product design and development. 🌐 The convergence of AI, wearable technology, and personalized healthcare solutions seen at MEDICA 2024 aligns perfectly with our vision of creating products that serve as interfaces to applications, solutions, and services. The integration of these technologies will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery and patient care. #MEDICA2024 #DigitalHealth #IoMT #Innovation #WearableTech
