✨What a week! ✨ UL Week’s symposium was an event of inspiration, creativity, and connection! During the lectures, experts from around the world offered fresh perspectives on topics like social and spatial justice, diversity, and tactical urbanism. From Cali, Colombia, and Mumbai, India, to the Netherlands, Austria, and Venezuela, we explored projects from diverse disciplines and regions. The week was also an opportunity to meet new people and deepen connections with familiar faces—especially during the World Café session, which created a friendly, engaging atmosphere among students and young professionals. One highlight was the collaborative collage we created, offering a moment to decompress and channel our thoughts into hands-on teamwork. It was a hopeful and creative way to rap up two days filled with food for thought. Learning about participation & design in Berlin 💫 During our medium trip to Berlin, we had the chance to visit the landscape architecture office gruppe F | Freiraum für alle GmbH. After learning about their work, we explored participation approaches that they use to public space design and neighborhood transformation in Germany. A highlight of the day was using LEGOs 🧱 as a tool for vision-building. Four groups worked together to design creative neighborhood visions during the session.
