  • Sonoco, Tudela (Spain) orders order  Forming Fabric Cleaners from ProJet b.v. ProJet received an order for 2 Forming Fabric Cleaners (ProCleaners - Power Cleaners) from Sonoco for their Paper Machine # 1 in Tudela, Spain. The order was received in the last week of December 2024 and the value of the order will not be disclosed. Delivery will be in Q2 of 2025. PM1 produces Coreboard, using 100% recycled fibers. Recycled is known for its extreme contamination on the Paper Machine Clothing. The ProCleaner with the “ProPlusModeTM” is highly effective in maintaining cleanliness and permeability of Forming Fabrics which is exactly the reason that Sonoco continues to choose for ProJet. The “2.0” head is equipped with more nozzles for continuous cleaning and enhanced cleaning during sheet breaks, the “ProPlusModeTM”. Cleaning water and contamination is effectively evacuated by a vacuum system. The ProCleaner Type F (Forming Fabrics) use a single traversing head, optional equipped with MaxProServices that cover the fabrics almost three times as fast as the existing conventional oscillating showers. Furthermore, Sonoco expects to achieve substantial water savings because the ProJet b.v. Power Cleaner uses only 5.0ltr/min of water; a conventional shower consumes over 160 ltr/min. Furthermore, the ProCleaner delivers the following operational and performance benefits: ·      Substantial cleaning water savings (= operational cost reduction + improved profitability): the Pro Cleaner provides superior cleaning performance, while only consuming 1.3gpm (5.0 liter/min) of water. A conventional oscillating shower consumes over 100gpm of water, leading to substantial more electrical power and waste water treatment costs. ·      Water mist elimination is achieved by the application of air knives that contain water mist and contamination, which is discharged through Venturi tubes and finally into a save all pan. ·      Targeted cleaning enables an operator to control the Cleaner for not only overall CD fabric/felt cleaning but to also apply targeted zone/strip or edge cleaning.   • Toray Industries, Inc.’, Korea, orders Power Cleaner from ProJet b.v. Toray Advanced Composites , a Nonwovens producer in Korea, has ordered a Power Cleaner systems from ProJet b.v.. The order was received in November 2024. The value of the order will not be disclosed. Delivery is scheduled to take place in Q1 of 2025 with a start up in 2025. Toray Industries, Inc. has a total of 12 manufacturing lines, that have a width of 3.2 - 4.6 meters and operate at a speed of up to 1,000m/min. ProJet b.v.’s Power Cleaner assures non-stop production without the need for stopping the line for belt changes or manual cleaning of the belt. As always, the newest system is equipped with a Water Heater that heats up the pressurized water to 100oC, so the cleaning is done with high pressure steam The lines use a spunmelt extrusion processes. Both Spunbond and Meltblown are known to create contamination issues on the conveyor belt (also known as spinbelt), each process having its specific characteristics and belt contamination issues.   • ProJet b.v. successfully started up a total of 10 Cleaners for Wires, Felts and Dryer Fabrics to at ADIPRIMA SURAPRINTA, PT ProJet b.v. received an order for a total 10 ProJet High Pressure Cleaners from ADIPRIMA SURAPRINTA, PT Suparinta for their PM1 and PM3. These 10 Power Cleaners were successfully started up in November 2024.  The Power Cleaners were supplied along with all auxiliary equipment, pumps, control panels, etc. All pumps are provided with redundant systems for maximum reliability. ADIPRIMA SURAPRINTA, PT did a big rebuild of their PM3 which includes the a new Press Section. The new ProJet b.v. Power Cleaners are part of that rebuild and will provide maximum cleanliness and permeability to all 3 sections of the machine, Forming-, Press- and Dryer Section. All ProJet Cleaners are equipped with MaxProServices, chemical and passivation spraying capability Clean Forming Fabrics and Press Felts, with consistently high permeability and dewatering capabilities, delivers important productivity and performance advantages. Better dewatering in the Forming and Press Section leads substantial improvement in dryness level when the sheet leaves the Press Section. Press Felts loose dewatering ability due to the increasing use of secondary fibres, recycling of coated broke, increasing use of sheet fillers, an increased use of recycled mill water supplies, and the increased use of process chemicals.
