From our Agri commodity markets outlook 2025: Cocoa and robusta coffee prices reached record highs in 2024, with arabica prices at their highest level since 1977. Given that these commodities are trading at levels well above cost of production, we expect production to expand and demand to contract in the coming year. Although a drop in commodity prices is expected, consumers will continue to see retail price increases as the supply chain passes along higher costs.
