On 2 July, leaders from the media and advertising industry met for the Sustainability Lunch at De Kas, organised by Marktplaats. The event was a great platform to discuss how sustainable practises can shape a greener future. 🌍🌱 On this Earth Day, we would like to thank our Official Partners for their invaluable contributions to our reforestation initiatives. Together, we have achieved important milestones in preserving and restoring our planet's precious forests and creating a brighter and greener future for all. From 2021 to 2023, Renewd® has made remarkable progress, through WeForest 🌿 in Desa’a, Ethiopia, with the support of our partners: 🌿 138.75 hectares of forest restored – an area equivalent to about 333 football pitches. This achievement is a testament to the joint efforts of our partners to promote environmental sustainability and protect biodiversity. 🌳 135,000 trees protected and cared for, serving as important allies in the fight against deforestation and climate change. Each tree is a powerful carbon sink, absorbing CO2 emissions from the atmosphere and helping to mitigate the effects of climate change. We would like to thank our partners for their commitment to our mission of giving devices a second life and promoting a circular economy. By extending the life of electronic devices, we not only reduce e-waste, but also minimise the environmental impact of manufacturing new products.
