Adopting AI requires a fundamental rethinking of processes. Yet, much of the conversation today remains centered on individual productivity through tools like ChatGPT. Today 75% of the world’s GDP has yet to experience the full impact of digital transformation. Generative AI, multimodal models, and data infrastructures serve as catalysts for a profound shift, enabling industries to transform into lean, tech-driven ecosystems. This fusion of the physical and digital domains demands a fundamental reshaping of how businesses operate. Last week, Timo and I had the opportunity to discuss these ideas during a workshop for The Conference Board. Drawing on four use cases Reshaped is currently building, we explored practical steps companies can take to unlock the potential of AI and overcome common barriers to adoption. Hij heeft aan de Erasmus de Master Business Information Management (BIM) Cum Laude afgerond. Zijn thesis ging over RAG en Large Language Models, dus hij kan natuurlijk niet wachten om hier in de praktijk mee aan de slag te gaan. 💪 Max is opgegroeid in Rotterdam en heeft al ervaring opgedaan als Data Engineer, Data Scientist en RPA Developer bij verschillende bedrijven. Today, Max van Doorn and I visited the Microsoft AI Tour in Hilversum. Microsoft showed everything that is possible today with Azure AI. ↘️ We at Reshaped have three takeaways: ⏱️Time Series Models: Microsoft is making generative models available for time series analysis ready for deployment, like Nixtla, within Azure AI Studio and Microsoft Fabric. This aims to simplify and scale predictive analytics. ☎️ Real-Time Voice Conversations: Voice capabilities are now in preview, enabling real-time conversational AI applications. This opens up new possibilities for interactive and immediate responses. 🤖 Understanding GPTs: GPTs should be thought of as “language calculators” rather than databases. They generate responses based on language patterns, not stored data, which is important for setting realistic expectations about their function and limitations. The differentiating factor in the long term lies in business- and industry-specific AI solutions that optimize processes and provide advantages in products or services. 🌟 Welkom bij het team, Ilayda & Gina! Met trots kondigen we aan dat Ilayda & Gina zich bij Reshaped hebben aangesloten. In het team zal Ilayda starten als AI Engineer Intern en Gina als AI Engineer. Toevallig hebben ze allebei de Master Artificial Intelligence gedaan aan de UvA. Ilayda woont nu 5 jaar in Nederland en het is bijzonder knap dat ze zich de Nederlandse taal al eigen heeft gemaakt. Ze heeft een passie voor AI en houdt van roeien. Naast het doen van onderzoek zal ze zich bezighouden met het bouwen van innovatieve AI-oplossingen. 📚 Gina is opgegroeid in Amsterdam en heeft de afgelopen 2 jaar naast haar studie werkervaring opgedaan rondom AI en als Data Scientist onderzoek gedaan bij verschillende start-ups. Ze heeft een achtergrond in Econometrie en Management Science en daarnaast is ze voorzitter van de Landelijke Econometristendag (LED) die zal plaatsvinden op 6 februari 2025. 🚀 Shanna woont in Rotterdam, houdt ervan om zichzelf uit te dagen en zal zich vanuit Reshaped voornamelijk focussen op Project Management, uitvoeren van analyses, onderzoek en het geven van advies rondom de implementatie van AI-oplossingen. 🤖 💪

🔍 𝗔𝗜-𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲: 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘀: Bij de implementaties die we doen bij klanten zien we vaak de volgende vraag terugkomen: focus je op een specifiek business probleem of start je met het opzetten van een solide datafundering? Beide benaderingen hebben hun voordelen, maar bij Reshaped zien we dat een gecombineerde aanpak vaak de beste resultaten oplevert. 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗻 🧠 De top down-aanpak richt zich op het vaststellen en bouwen van de fundering (een dataplatform met meerdere bronnen) en hoe je de datakwaliteit op schaal verbeterd. Moderne data platformen zoals Lakehouse (Databricks) en Fabric (Microsoft) bieden instapklare mogelijkheden voor AI-oplossingen en BI-mogelijkheden. 𝗚𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁 𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗹 🦾 De meest effectieve aanpak combineert beide strategieën. Start met cases waarbij de datakwaliteit al redelijk goed staat, en gebruik oplossingen zoals AI search of AI Studio om snel aan te tonen dat AI werkt. Versterk ondertussen je datafundering met bijvoorbeeld Azure Databricks om zo meer bronnen te ontsluiten en te schalen via frameworks zoals MLops en LLMops.
