Van 4 tot en met 10 november vindt de jaarlijkse Week van Nalaten aan Cultuur plaats. De Rijksakademie maakt onderdeel uit van het gelijknamige platform en net als de afgelopen jaren willen we samen met andere culturele instellingen informeren en inspireren rondom het thema nalaten aan culturele instellingen. Je liefde voor cultuur laten voortbestaan kan verschillende vormen aannemen. Van een Fonds op Naam tot een vast bedrag in een nalatenschap, er is veel mogelijk om jouw impact op de cultuur van de toekomst geldend te maken. Over ons
The Rijksakademie residency programme houses an artist community that is highly international, multi-disciplinary, experimental and critically engaged. Up to 50 artists are open to challenging themselves, and to working alongside positions that are vastly different from their own. Spending up to two years in residence, they enter into an open-ended process where they can deepen their practices, and explore new territories, in and beyond the art field. Residents benefit from an array of opportunities for exchange, including peer to peer dialogue and visits from a wide range of leading art professionals. They have access to technical workshops, and guidance by technical specialists, who foster hands-on, innovative and collaborative approaches to making, as well as an extensive library and a historical collection.

OPEN CALL TECH FELLOWSHIP 2025 Deadline: 17 November 2024 In 2022, the Rijksakademie launched a trainee/research programme for young and mid-career artists/makers to further develop their skills in craft, material and technique: the Tech Fellowship Programme. The programme is entering its fourth edition that will run from January to December 2025. In addition to the open call we sent out in summer, we are happy to announce that we have another place available for this fourth edition.
