A complex network of cables and structures enables offshore wind energy. So how do we ensure this infrastructure is well-protected? With a survey pole > These smart poles, equipped with advanced sensors, scan the seabed and help determine where protective rock bags should be placed. At Royal Roos, we specialize in engineering this technology. According to our engineer Zakaria Sachhi, it's all about precision and stability: → Sensors extend below the ship’s baseline, reaching up to one meter deep. → The maximum bending is checked to ensure it remains within the acceptable limit of each installed sensor. → Both vertical and horizontal forces from vessel movements are factored into calculations. → We ensure efficient engineering approval by closely following classification society procedures, enabling faster deployment. In the detailed design phase, you will guide draftsmen, providing clear technical instructions to create accurate, high-quality drawings. You will also be responsible for reviewing and validating these drawings to ensure they meet project standards before release. Throughout the process, your role is to ensure each design is logical, feasible, and aligned with Royal Roos’ technical standards.
