Waterstof Coalitie Brabant is een feit. Brabant neemt het voortouw in de verduurzaming van waterstofproductie. Afgelopen vrijdag, 6 december, startte een unieke samenwerking tussen zeven toonaangevende bedrijven, kennisinstellingen, de provincie Noord-Brabant en de Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) om waterstof efficiënter en duurzamer te produceren. Eén van die bedrijven is SALD BV. Met onze unieke machines kunnen we nanocoatings maken die elektrolysers beter, goedkoper en groener kunnen maken. Wil je precies weten hoe? SALD, the innovator in Spatial ALD technology Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is a technology that produces very thin, conformal films with control of thickness and composition at atomic level. ALD is best known for the production of computer chips. The disadvantage is that it works slowly; each layer takes relatively much time. In 2008 TNO scientists developed a brilliant solution for this: Spatial ALD. With this new technology TNO was able to increase the production speed 5 to 10 times, while the coating quality remained the same.

This week we attended the General Assembly of The Triumph Horizon Europe project in Bitterfeld. In addition to discussing project progress and outcomes, we had the chance to tour the advanced test facility and Hanwha Qcells pilot line. Many thanks to #Qcells for hosting this meeting. 🔬 Zuurstofplasma opent nieuwe marktkansen voor SALD! 🌱 Met hun innovatieve ALD-technologie maakt SALD het mogelijk om dunne lagen op diverse materialen te deponeren, zonder hoge temperaturen.
