As we turn the page to 2025, we want to thank you for being part of our story this past year. To our users, partners, and the Nextcloud community - thank you for sharing your thoughts, challenges, and ideas with us this year. Dear Sendent friends,   As a successful 2024 draws to a close, we wanted to share an honest reflection on our journey – both the victories and challenges that have shaped us. Sometimes we need to pause, reflect on the lessons learned, and celebrate what we've achieved together.   ✨ Product evolution 2024 marked significant growth in our product family. In January, we expanded our lineup with: ▪️ Sendent for Outlook: Launching our Cross-Platform version to support the latest Outlook versions across Windows, macOS, and web browsers ▪️ Sendent for MS Teams: Enabling secure collaboration without sharing data to Microsoft – your true on-premises alternative to OneDrive ▪️ Nextcloud Exchange Connector: Bridging platforms with calendar and contact synchronization between Nextcloud and Exchange   🔄 Growing through feedback The truth about launching new products? They're never perfect on day one. Your candid feedback – both praise and constructive criticism – has been invaluable. We've implemented new features and fixes throughout the year, and we're not done yet. Your input continues to shape a better Sendent experience.   🤝 Connecting with our community Meeting you in person has been incredible. Through our online webinars and five major events – Nextcloud Enterprise Days in Munich, Frankfurt and Paris, it-sa Expo&Congress in Nuremberg, and Open Source Experience in Paris – we've gained insights that no virtual meeting could replace. Your honest sharing of successes and your biggest business challenges has given us clear direction for the future.   🚀 Looking ahead The growth in our customer base this year confirms that we're on the right path with our mission to help businesses succeed. Looking ahead, we're developing new features that will make secure communication even simpler, with complete control over sharing — all within your familiar tools. Another Nextcloud Enterprise Day, but my first edition in Paris 🇫🇷 After a ‘trial’ last year, this year the organization was aiming for a number of people which was easily exceeded, and stopped at over 90 attendees since this was the max capacity of the location. There even was a waiting list. This shows the amount of interest in Nextcloud, even though it was the third Enterprise Day in 2024. I got a lot of positive responses on my talk how the Sendent solutions help organizations in making it easier and more efficient for their employees to work with Nextcloud. This because everyone knows (and often prefers) to keep working in trusted tools like #Outlook and #Teams. But at the same time as an organization regain control with a data sovereign solution.
