Spicemasters, partner for the retail and food service channel within the herbs and spices industry. We searching for the highest quality of herbs and spices at the country of origin and transforming raw materials into bespoke finished products in our other company, Mouw Maalderij BV. Mouw Maalderij has more than 40 years of knowledge and experience with grinding, mixing and cleaning of herbs and spices. Different spices and herbs require for different grinding methods. We have different grinding processes in-house in order to be able to grind all kinds of types of herbs and spices. In the last ten years Mouw Maalderij has expanded their production process with steam treatment, decorticating and packaging. Steam kills pathogens, reduces levels of bacteria and spores. The benefits: food safety, a longer shelf life of the products and less spores in your production. All these processes are subjected to annual certifications checks by IFS (International Food Standards). We are certified in March 2018 IFS Broker and IFS FOOD. This in combination with Spicemasters, who has a strong sourcing network with spice partners around the world, we are a full-service partner. We supply the wholesale and processing industry with a total package of complete mixes and simple products.

Wegens uitbreiding van onze activiteiten zijn wij op zoek naar: Meewerkend teamleider logistiek/expeditie Deze functie is nieuw binnen ons bedrijf, hierbij zijn wij op zoek naar iemand die zelfstandig ons warehouse verder kan gaan vormgeven en runnen.
Update: We hebben een baas gevonden! Iedereen dank voor het delen in zijn of haar netwerk. Altijd al de baas willen zijn van een warehouse ! Wegens uitbreiding van onze activiteiten zijn wij op zoek naar een Meewerkend teamleider logistiek/expeditie. Wij zijn op zoek naar iemand die zelfstandig ons warehouse verder kan gaan vormgeven en runnen. We now have had the first week and of course not everything goes smoothly, it takes a lot of getting used to it and at the moment everything takes more time. But we are very happy with it, this is a big step in professionalizing our company. Our team is back from visiting our suppliers in origin. Last two weeks, our purchasing and salesteam visited our suppliers of pepper & cassia in Vietnam and our suppliers of nutmeg, mace and other spices like cloves in Indonesia. It was good to speak to our suppliers in person again and of course to see the entire process from harvesting to filling the container with our spices. It was fascinating to see the nutmeg trees in their beautiful surroundings. We met local farmers and gained insight into nutmeg and mace cultivation, from harvesting to the drying process. This trip gave us a good understanding of these spices but also about the challenges and risks in these processes. We saw how seriously our suppliers are concerned with the quality of the spice and that gives us a lot of confidence to further expand our partnerships.
