Last Thursday night Stichting Argan had the pleasure of hosting an inspirational networking iftar which we organized in collaboration with Deloitte, turningtables , Family of Academic Minds (FAM students) and Edu4u. Our room was filled with first generation students and students with a migration background. They had the opportunity to connect and network with a large group of professionals from Deloitte. We shared a delicious iftar meal during which connections were made and interesting conversations were held. After the iftar our host Shara Gaffaf introduced Alaa Khalefeh and Asmae Hassanu from Deloitte who shared their powerful and inspiring stories. Alaa Khalefeh also provided us with the delicious and beautifully packaged baklava from his company Swisslava by Lux2Lux. Qusai Naim enchanted the room with his beautiful cello performance. Atta De Tolk inspired everyone and encouraged them to think about inclusivity, unity and equality and to challenge the status quo. We would like to thank all of our collaboration partners for the time and energy that was put into creating this night: Deloitte, Taoufik Rouchdi, Alaa Khalefeh, Asmae Hassanu, Hassan Bettani, turningtables , Anna Bruining, Family of Academic Minds (FAM students), Francys Gaviria Aldas, Imèn Kadry, Edu4u en Mohamad Baghdadi. The beautiful pictures were taken by Farouk from the Momentory (https://lnkd.in/etGCgvpE), thank you for capturing this night so perfectly. And last but not least thank you to all the students for your presence. We look forward to hosting you again soon.
