On Thursday, November 21st, the Humanity Hub hosted the final Fundraising Training session of 2024, focusing on Writing Winning Proposals. Led by senior consultant Kenneth Carol Van Toll, the workshop—organised in partnership with HVFC - Fundraising · Impact · Talent—walked participants through every step of crafting a compelling funding proposal. From navigating complex decision-making and evaluation processes to the practicalities of drafting, the session offered valuable insights and actionable tips. Participants engaged in lively discussions, exchanged experiences, and walked away with tools and strategies to strengthen their fundraising efforts. While this marks the end of this year’s Fundraising Training series, it’s only the beginning of what’s to come! 🎉 Stay tuned for the launch of next year’s Access to Funding Programme, starting with a new workshop in early 2025. As we are approaching #CyberResilienceReportLaunch on Wednesday, let's get back to where it all started: NGOs are facing a cyber threat. ⚡ In the last 4 years only, 122.464 cyber attacks impacted nonprofits. Below you can read some stories of those who have been under attack by cyber criminals. 🚨 It has to stop! As Stéphane Duguin from CyberPeace Institute says: "We must understand the gravity of this problem. Cyber threats are impacting real lives. It is a threat to civil society." Luckily, organisations like his have done already a lot of work to battle cyber threats. This Wednesday CyberPeace Institute, connect2trust, The Shadowserver Foundation and The Hague Humanity Hub will present the Cyber Resilience for NGOs report. 📜 What does this mean? Thanks to data collected in collaboration with the 30 organizations participating in the programme, the report explores the specific cyber threats facing NGOs in the Netherlands, examining their risk exposure, maturity, vulnerability profiles, and resilience against cyberattacks. Based on the analysis, the report will provide #actionable #recommendations to build capacities and #resilience to mitigate cyber risks. Join the conversation toward building a stronger, cyber-resilient sector! 🗓 27 November 2024 ⏰ 18:00 - 20:30 📍The Hague Humanity Hub Reserve your spot: https://lnkd.in/e3rQrqfC This project is made possible by The Hague Humanity Hub, CyberPeace Institute, connect2trust and The Shadowserver Foundation.
