Explore Unified Agile Coaching at the Largest Czech Bank!🚀 👉 See how this journey can inspire your Agile transformation: https://lnkd.in/engm5J-2 In this video, Michal Donát shares the Czech Republic's largest bank’s 3-year journey to a “Team of Teams” Agile coaching model. With 55 Agile coaches working across Tribes and Squads, this approach has transformed both team alignment and strategic impact across the organization. 🎥 Key Insight: "Freedom without alignment leads to inefficiency. But when Agile coaches operate with a shared purpose, they become one voice—creating genuine, lasting impact." This story highlights the evolution from a siloed coaching structure to a unified, consultancy-style model, where coaches rotate to meet skill needs. This shift has enhanced expertise, strengthened alignment, and helped Agile coaches become essential strategic partners. #LeSS #AgileTransformation #AgileCoaching #TeamAlignment #Scrum #OrganizationalImpact #AgileTeams #ContinuousImprovement #LeSSWorks

🚀 Myths of Software Management: Conway’s Law 🎥 In product development, myths abound—and Conway’s Law is no exception. 🌍💡 Craig Larman’s latest talk dives deep into the real meaning behind this foundational principle, shedding light on how its misuse has shaped (and often misshaped) large-scale organizational design. 🔑 What you’ll discover in the video: - The correct interpretation of Conway's Law (hint: it’s NOT about locking teams to architecture). - Why flexibility in organizational design is essential—and how it ties directly to CEO-level priorities like adaptability, value delivery, and speed. - How misreadings of Conway’s paper have led to common misconceptions like “component teams” or “fixed architectures.” - The shocking evolution (and distortion) of terms like Inverse Conway Maneuver and Reverse Conway Maneuver. 📖 A key insight from Craig: If your architecture isn’t perfect (it rarely is), locking your teams into it is a recipe for stagnation. The solution? Foster cross-functional, end-to-end communication—and design for flexibility and evolution. 💡 Bonus Takeaway: Craig shares a game-changing tip for educators and leaders: Teach the truth first, then debunk the myths. Why? Because human psychology remembers what you hear first. 🧠 Curious? Intrigued? Ready to challenge the status quo? 🎬 Watch the video now and rethink the way we scale: https://lnkd.in/eiYuFK-g Let’s discuss below—what myths around scaling or organizational design have you encountered? 👇 #LeSSWorks #OrganisationalDesign #ProductDevelopment

Discover How Poster POS Overcame Scaling Challenges with LeSS!🚀 👉 Watch the full story here: https://lnkd.in/d-SQW-pk In this insightful session, Alexey Krivitsky 🌈 walks us through the transformative journey of Poster POS, a Ukrainian SaaS company that embraced LeSS for scaling Agile across feature teams. Converting a traditional Scrum approach into a true LeSS framework was no small feat, but it resulted in significant alignment and efficiency gains. The CEO’s focus on *global optimization* over local speed was key, enabling them to allocate teams to high-impact projects. 🎥 Key Insight: “From a company-wide perspective, our ability to shift teams to critical tasks is our competitive edge. Local speed is secondary; it’s about collaboration across teams to maximize impact.” Poster POS’s experience sheds light on both the ‘ouches’ and ‘yoohoos’ of scaling with LeSS, offering valuable lessons for organizations navigating similar Agile transitions. If you're looking to move beyond isolated Agile practices and into true cross-functional collaboration, this journey is a must-see! #LeSS #ScalingAgile #AgileTransformation #FeatureTeams #GlobalOptimization #PosterPOS #AgileTeams #CrossTeamCollaboration #LeSSWorks

Product Manager, Agile Delivery at Government Digital Products (Platform)

It was a rare treat to be given the opportunity to speak at the 2024 LeSS Singapore Conference ! Really grateful to the organisers Stanly Lau Ivan Zimine, PhD for the invitation. I shared about GovTech Business Grants Portal team's journey in adopting LeSS (Large-scale scrum), so that our teams can be more nimble and responsive to changes. I still remember 4 years ago when I wanted to take the next step in my career as a Scrum Master - to go beyond serving 1 team and to work with multiple teams in a scaled agile framework - to find out how multiple teams can work together as one to build great products. It has gradually become clear to me. When we say we want teams to be agile, what we want are teams that are ready to respond and take up any type of work, but the biggest hindrance to this is almost always the learning bottleneck - where progress stalls because key knowledge isn't shared easily and regularly. After having practised LeSS for almost 3 years now, it still amazes me how effectively this framework addresses this by tackling it from a systemic approach - by embedding learning into our working cadence. I would like to thank Farah Mohamad and Tony Low for supporting my initial growth as a scrum master; Quy Tang for your continuous encouragement as BGP embarked on our LeSS transformation journey; and to the many LeSS teachers and fellow practitioners I have sought advice from - Steven Koh, Stanly Lau, Regina Ong, Zhixun, Will Lin C. 🙏 Most importantly, I couldn't have done this without my team, who believed in and worked towards this transformation - David Zhu Jian Hui Tan Poh Quanwei and our Cognizant Partners Seng Young, Ivan Teng Siby Stephen #LeSSSG #LeSSWork #techforpublicgood

My former Wartsila colleague Emily Hogenboom-Catalan will give a talk next month at Hilversum, NL, about people managing at a large Scrum adoption A crucial but often neglected topic - you can't make products without people; and working in an Agile/Scrum way, especially in a large setting, is not a trivial people challenge. Being a people manager at a LeSS huge adoption for the last several years gives her unique insights into this challenge! https://lnkd.in/eTUmz-qs
