Join the KLABU team as our Finance Manager! We’re on the lookout for a freelance or part-time Finance Manager to join us in Amsterdam. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of KLABU’s financial operations, leading and handling forecasting, budgeting, accounting, and reporting linked to our sports projects around the world. “KLABU feels as family” 💗 We’re so proud to see our community member Kachi featured in Voetbal International, the Netherlands’ most popular football magazine. Kachi, former Nigeria national under-23 team player, has provided football training to children at the KLABU clubhouse in the asylum centre in Ter Apel, is our centre back in the KLABU Amsterdam football team and after studying at Johan Cruyff Institute, he’s now building his career in football management. The Waraotuma a Tuaranoko shelter in northern Brazil 🇧🇷 is a temporary home for indigenous Venezuelans who’ve had to flee their country. Elizabeth and her team run the KLABU clubhouse - where the community can borrow sports equipment, watch games on TV, and just have a good time together! Since the integration of televisions and solar power into KLABU clubhouses, watching sports matches and movies has become a community highlight! 🇧🇷 For example in Boa Vista, Brazil, where the first edition of the regular movie nights took place at the clubhouse. 🇳🇱 In Ter Apel, where unaccompanied minors get to know the Netherlands through the Dutch Eredivisie. 🇲🇷 Or the M’bera refugee camp in Mauritania, where over hundred community members came together to watch Real Madrid - Barcelona. 🇬🇷 And earlier this year, where the community in Lesvos, Greece, watched Champions League together.
