Step into the creative universe of Belgian master James Ensor at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp (KMSKA). Tinker realised this immersive exhibition in collaboration with KMSKA and partners. Visitors explore Ensor's eccentric world, filled with vibrant colours and graphic elements, offering a playful and engaging experience. The exhibition unfolds through organic shapes, dynamic transitions, and hands-on installations that reflect the artist's evolution: from wild fantasies to sharp satire. Special features for younger visitors ensure everyone can enjoy the imaginative journey. Curious about the type of work we create and haven’t seen this exhibition yet? Be sure to visit before it closes on January 19th! #ensor #artexhibition #museumdesign #tinkerimagineers #interactiveexhibits #experiencedesign #scenography #kmska Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (KMSKA) Planemos, 50LUX - Lichtontwerp & advies, Kiss the Frog, Chris Pype, Dutch Igloo, Art Vision, Ditmar Bollaert / video © Joris Verleg

What a delightful city Lübeck is, with its impressive history! This year, Tinker began a project in Germany, designing an immersive experience as a major new addition to the permanent exhibition at the European Hansemuseum in Lübeck. A 360° video installation takes visitors through the rich history of the Hanseatic League, guiding them from the past to the present. How much of it remains in today’s world? We have two major highlights in our collaboration with Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (KMSKA)! Firstly, our previous exhibition, Turning Heads, has been nominated for the prestigious FX Design Awards in the exhibition design category. We’ll find out by the end of November if we’ve won, but it’s already such an honour to receive this nomination. Fingers crossed! Secondly, our latest project is the large and unique Ensor exhibition at KMSKA, and last week, we were there for a photoshoot. It’s been such a delight to see visitors engaging with our design and experiencing the exhibition. What a fantastic opportunity to push the boundaries once again, in collaboration with the museum. If there’s one artist whose work suits this approach, it’s James Ensor! Described by the jury as 'pushing digital experiences in a new way that will shape the rest of the industry,' this groundbreaking museum experience combines facial recognition, personalised content, and seamless design to create an immersive journey through the Dutch media landscape — making media and media literacy both engaging and accessible for all visitors. Proud of this collab with Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid! New exhibition The Lost Museum! From 1822 to 1875, no fewer than 10,000 objects were housed on the ground floor of the Mauritshuis... can you imagine? It must have been packed inside. But how and why were these collections assembled? What stories were told about the objects, and were they accurate? Thanks to Rijksmuseum and Wereldmuseum Leiden, curators Sheila Reda and Justine Rinnooy Kan from the Mauritshuis have put together a fascinating exhibition. Tinker was tasked with designing a modern take on a curiosities cabinet, inspired by the crowded Royal Cabinet of Rarities, once displayed at the museum in the 19th century. View the project on our website: https://lnkd.in/dK9J47mm Many thanks to the Mauritshuis for the commission and to everyone who contributed, including Martine Gosselink, Fiction Factory, Hans Wolff & Partners, Kay van Vree, Riwi Collotype, Nine Geertman, Berthe Mandaat, Merijn Denkers, Diede van Vree, Nienke van den Berg, Erik Bär. Tinker imagineers heeft dit gerepost
Goed nieuws!

A glimpse behind the scenes at the Mauritshuis: the Van Vree brothers creating an introductory video. Recently, we have been working on the temporary exhibition "The Lost Museum", which will be on display from 12 September 2024 to 5 January 2025. Final preparations are underway: the collection has been arranged and is currently being illuminated. The exhibition brings together unique objects from the Royal Cabinet of Rarities, which was housed on the ground floor of the Mauritshuis from 1822 to 1875. It also offers a critical look at the rich but often complex history and its influence on the present. How and why were these items collected? What stories were told about the objects, and are they accurate? - Mauritshuis, Fiction Factory, Riwi Collotype, Hans Wolff & Partners, Diede & Kay van Vree, Nienke van den Berg, Merijn Denkers, Nine Geertman #thelostmuseum #exhibitiondesign #tinkerimagineers #cocreation #newproject #mauritshuis
